Products:
Ouidad Omega-3 Replenishing Hair Treatment
Doris New York Mud Minerals Pack Treatment
Doris New York The Reconstructor Shampoo
ApHogee Keratin and Green Tea Restructurizer
Aveda Smooth Infusion Style-Prep Smoother
Jane Carter Solution Wrap & Roll
Chi Deep Brilliance Reflect

Total time for treatments, straightening and trim was about three hours.
Keep and care:
You can maintain this style by wrapping the hair around the head and securing with a silk or satin scarf, or you can roll the hair on rods or rollers to create additional volume.

Her hair looks GORG! I bigchopped 6 1/2 months ago and I've been wanting to do a blow out and flat iron soo bad! Definitely need to look into a good flat iron and make sure I follow the correct steps not to damage my hair. I also wash my hair once a week and dc with each wash. Thanks for this video Mo 🙏

All I can say is Moknows hair... She is my #1 favorite natural hair expert... I have the same type of hair as Mo and her tips help me especially with both of my daughters having natural hair. Her tips are easy to follow and show great results. I am already side boob length (haha I didn't know how else to explain lol) and it is all because of Mo and her wonderful knowledge of hair. I feel like I am in a class when I hear her speaking in detail of what each product is designed to do and how to use each product or how to create a hairstyle. LOVE YOU Mo!

Beautiful! Watching Cherie's transition inspired me to give up the creamy crack and I'm now 13 months post. The aphogee curlific treatment and cream of nature argan oil products have been my saving grace. I plan to chop the relaxed ends in the Spring. Thanks for continuing to share Cherie's journey.

I'm 2 minutes into the video and I'm watching it like I'm studying for a test. When I cut off my relaxed ends I experienced and is still experiencing this same thing. I have sections of my hair that will not curl like the other parts. I even thought it was probably from heat damage so I've been snipping those ends with no change. I'm going to have to try this treatment to see if it helps bring my curls back to the sections that aren't curling.

My hair is very similar to hers with loose curls in front. I do agree there was elasticity loss, because the new hair has curls much better. You are so right about the low manipulation and not re-twisting the hair nightly. That caused so much breakage to my fine hair. Even if you're not one for protective styles, I think a weekly wash n go preserved the right way will still avoid breakage and help retain length. Thanks for the helpful info Mo!

I must say that I love all of the videos where you do Cherie's hair because it looks so much like my own. I am having the same issue with very loose curls in some areas versus very tight curls in others. I thought it was just different textures until I watched this video. I also have the same issue with extreme frizz, so I will be trying out an elasticity treatment. I will also follow Cherie's regimen...tweaking it to my liking of course. You shared some wonderful information here. Thank you.

FANTASTIC VIDEO!!! Please shows us how you get her curls back over the next few months Mo. I am experiencing the same issues on my 3c hair and I am at a crossroads of giving up on my natural curls because of my "straight patch" as I call in on my left (temple) side of my head (much like her front side). oh how I wish you could help me with my hair.. I`m getting a trim or yeah cutting off a bit more of the relaxed part of my hair.. I`ve been transitioning for a while now.. I went from bra length hair to shoulder length hair past march and I`m at a stage now where my hair is getting harder to detangle.. Its like my natural hair and the piece left of my relaxed hair started a war I did not know about.. I`ve been watching your channel for a while now.. and its really a guide for me.. you are so passionate about hair.. I admire you.. I`ve been really patient as I do not wanna go back to getting my hair relaxed.. I staightend it once since I started transitioning but I don`t wanna use any direct heat on my hair anymore I want my hair to be as healthy as it can be.. I do use rollers and it comes out really good.. excited and scared for my cut tomorrow.. never had a cut above my shoulders before..

After transitioning, I kept cutting, and cutting, and cutting the crown of my hair bc it just would not curl like the rest of my head. I assumed it was just a different curl pattern or it was taking longer to "recover" from heat abuse. I was going o let it do its thing over time. After watching your vid, I now have an idea on products/methods I can use to help with recovery. Thank You!!!

Hi, thanks again for your videos. When you cut Shereze's relaxed ends, I was at the same stage and wanted to cut mine too; but with your video I realized the natural hair was shorter than I thought I could be confident with. I waited some months and, this month, as I feel much more confident, I went ahead and had my hair stylist cut my relaxed ends. He trimmed and straightened my hair and I had same result as you show in this video! I am just about to wash my head now and deal with the natural state and lenght of my hair for tomorrow at work... I take note of some of the products you use and try them; so far, I like the AVEDA ones :) Thank you! PS: I do have the same "issue" in the front hair...

I love watching your videos I always learn something new!!!! This is what I need, since I started working more with my natural hair I notice the coils more but also the frizz when it's wet & some shedding. Whenever I can I wear a protective style such as box braids. Can I do a treatment like this in between protective styles & what's a good moisturizer to spray on my braids during the time I wear them? Thank you so much

I have the same problem. I believe it is due to the leave out portion when I get sew ins. Though i've only had a few sew ins, my hair is low in density (very thin); therefore, it will take a while for me to build up thickness and elasticity again :(
