His 2014 article for "The Atlantic", “A Case for Reparations", should be required reading in high schools, probably a hundred years from now it might be, but he needs to be read and listened to NOW. I met a black lady from Washington state in my shop last week and I told her I would appreciate her vote to support Vice President Kamala Harris for president and she told me that she and her husband had gone the other way years ago and she asked me if I knew if Candice Owens. She said she and her family really like her. I said I was not familiar with her. I looked her up and was appalled. I am a 64 year old white democrat and I take pride in that and I proudly support Harris Walz. I wish I had known own this when she was in my flower shop. 💙💙💙💙💙

I'm surprised that this is a legit word, but it's just a fancy word for "lying". Definition: "A counterfactual is a mental simulation where you think about something that happened, and then imagine an alternate ending." In psychology, counterfactual thinking is the tendency we have to ruminate on the past and wonder “what could have been.” It involves thinking about the “what ifs” and “if onlys” as we envision what might have happened if we had taken a different path, made a different decision, or if a series of events somehow played. For example; thinking that the 1950s era before the Civil Rights Act was when "America was great" is "counterfactual" thinking. It wasn't great. I went to a segregated elementary school in Texas that broke the law, the first black students were finally admitted in *1972.*
I don't watch CNN because it's boring as HELL! Jim Acosta, Erin Burnett, & Laura Coates are the only ones worth watching. Chris Como and Don Lemon were great, too. They ask soft ball questions, and the majority of their guess contributors are boring as hell too, especially Van Jones! No CNN for me.

Van got upset with me for calling him out in 2016. Then he blocked me at the beginning of 2017 when it was clear he was going to work for trump. He then treated Harris as a non-thought even when she was in 2nd place in most polls in 2019. He acted as if she did not exist. I told him off then, as i was no longer blocked by him. He blocked me again.
Now I'm sure that he would love to be part of her team. Loyalty and integrity go far in the cut- throat business of politics. Too bad Jones doesn't possess either of those qualities.
