Hurricane Debby past by off the coast of SC last week and it had the coastal waters of SC stirred up. We're going to take you on a beach walk with us and look for washed-up beach treasures. #beach #exploring #nature
Since I am mostly house-bound due to cancer, your show provides me with so much enjoyment. The beach is my happy place and your show is as close as I can come to it, right now. By the way, the sound the wind makes is music to my ears. It makes me feel closer to my favorite place!
So sorry to hear that! 🙏 Cancer sucks! Prayers for your healing! We are thankful to have you joining us for the beach walk! We hope you enjoyed it! 🤗🌊👣🐚

Love you both and your videos soooooo much!!!!!! Love hearing the wind and surf and birds and seeing all the treasures!!!!!!!! Reminds me when me ,my mama and sister used to beachcomb oak Island and Carolina beaches. Miss it sooooouch. They're both in heaven now. I wish yal years of happiness and treasures!!!!!!!
These are definitely the kind of videos that my husband and I love to watch! We love the crabbing videos too! I love seeing the family, the fishing, the shrimping, the cooking, the fellowship, and can’t forget your good friend Lagrand…who always has a smile on his face and joy in his heart❤️ And guys, if you find that you get a lot of unwanted advice from negative people who troll your family adventures, just “blockem” and pay no attention to the self appointed “beach police” who’ll NEVER be satisfied with innocent fun loving folks like yourselves! Live your life and God bless you and your entire family❤
I always love the treasure hunting shelling videos on the beach. It’s therapeutic even if you are just following you along seeing the treasures you find.
Yes. I love shelling and I love watching others shell, learning new things about the shells and where they are. One can never have too many sea shells 😊
I just found your channel while just going through RU-vid. I live here in South Carolina. Although I was born and raised in Charleston, I now live further inland on Lake Moultrie . I enjoy watching your channel, whether it is ya'll out fishing and crabbing or walking down the beaches. Ya'll are doing a great job of sharing our beautiful state to the world. Keep up the good work. Maybe one day my wife will convince me to do some beach walking as well.
Love going along with you on your beach walks. I live in West Virginia. I love the beach. Can't get there anymore because of being 81 and can't walk the beach like I used to. So keep your videos coming...
Thanks so much for choosing to hang out with us! We are thankful to have the ability & opportunity to walk the beach & take you along with us while we can! 🤗🌊👣🙏
Was on Sanibel right after the storm. Best shelling experience I ever had. True tulips, tiger's eyes, angel wings, lightning whelks, fighting conches, horse conches. Gave a bunch to a little girl from Ohio and her mom that only had a bunch of broken ones.
I miss being able to walk on the beach and feel the sand slipping between my toes as the water recedes. Picking up little treasures was one of my favorite hobbies. So I will definitely be watching your videos and reminisce my past beach trips. Thank you so much for sharing your adventures and videos ❤❤
Dear Stephanie and Oliver, I’m from Fort Lauderdale and an avid sheller. I LOVE when you take the boat to the barrier island! We have family who live in Richmond Hill, GA, so when we visit, we’re not far from you. I love watching your videos. Because of your videos, on a recent trip, we hired a boat captain to take us out and I collected my first channel whelk and knobbed whelk off the coast near Savannah. What a day! I love all of your content. When we stayed in Midway, GA, we even baited crab traps and caught 11 blue crabs off the dock of our VRBO. Thank you for what you do. Thank you for expressing your love of the beauty of this Earth God has given us. ❤❤
@@SaltyReflections After not finding any shells on the rack line, it was my husband’s idea to venture into the stiff weeds in the water like you did in today’s video. It was there that we found our treasures. Although we caught 11 blue crabs, our family wasn’t up to eating them so we left them for the homeowner of the VRBO 😭.She was even willing to teach me how to ‘pick’ the meat! I guess on our next trip we’ll have to try it. 😀 Keep up the great work! You two are an inspiration.
@@SaltyReflections Oh, and we have multiple times kayaked Weeki Wachee Springs. We haven’t gone into the park, but have enjoyed reserving time slots ahead of time to kayak from the top of the spring all the way down flowing with the current. There’s even an ice cream boat on the river. A van then takes you back to the park where you’ve parked your car. ✅🙌
@user-vf8lk6ed4b Sometimes, it's definitely a treasure hunt & you gotta really search for them. Glad y'all found some nice treasures! Aww, man, y'all missed out on those crabs! 😋🦀 That sounds like it would be fun to kayak the area around Weeki Wachee. We may have to check that out on our next visit! Sounds like a good reason to go back! 😁
Thrilled to see a new beachcombing video from you busy folks. Even more thrilled that we will get to see more of this walk. The scenery is fantastic. So many birds and fluffy clouds! I kind of like the wind noise, it carried with it the sound of the waves breaking.
As we got further down the beach, the wind picked up even more. I hope the wind sounds in that part of the video aren't too bad. I haven't had time to look over it. We videoed this 8/14/24. The same day we uploaded the video.
I love your videos, it allows me to escape my land locked life. I love the salty life and the wind is part of a beach day. Keep on keeping on love ya.❤
Steph and Oliver I have watched you guys since your first video and I have enjoyed every minute of every adventure you guys take us on. The barrier island beach walks are just my favorite since Beaufort and Edisto have been my stomping grounds all my life. The most peaceful times of my life have been on barrier island beach walks and its always a joy to take walks with you. The banter you two share is heart warming. Keep doing what you do. You bring happiness to me and thousands of others thru your vids. Love you guys!! 😊❤
I, too am home bound due to health reasons and this video is great. We lived in St. Augustine, FL for 8 years and enjoyed doing exactly what you are doing. Hearing the waves is music to my ears and seeing your discoveries a blessing.
Back to the beach! Yea! My favorite place. Recovering from knee replacement surgery. Hopefully in the future, I'll be better at walking. Really enjoy following both of you while beachcombing. Enjoy your day!
Thank you for another wonderful video! I watch/listen while working and the sounds of the ocean are soothing and enjoyable. I truly love the wind sounds and don’t mind it one tiny bit! Please don’t pay any mind to anyone giving negative feedback- they are not worth your valuable time! Keep these fabulous videos coming for those of us who value you and your content. 😊❤
I have really missed the beach combing videos. I love the shells. I myself am unable to go the beaches so I see them trough you. Thank you fro sharing.
Hello Oliver and Stephanie...I've been watching your videos shelling, fishing and crabbing before We moved to Beaufort County. My husband and I are here! Its just as fantastic as you have portrayed in your videos. Love the coastal life and learning the about the tides while out fishing and boating. I agree on the bug spray, sunblock and putting my hair up when it wants to frizz!😀 what a great haul!
