Afternoon and Evening Trains at Carlisle.
RHTT,
Intermodals,
Mail
and 90s!
21 Nov 23
A Chilly afternoon, getting colder as the evening wore on. Darkness fell suddenly despite being able to see the half-moon at dusk.
We start the afternoon with the Rail Head Treatment Train heading for Skipton.
We see the three northbound early evening Intermodals, from Hams Hall, Daventry and Seaforth Dock.
Among the passenger trains we have the evening service to Glasgow formed of Super Voyagers.
The southbound mail to Warrington was made up of only a pair of Class 325s and not the usual 3 sets. Followed by Vamaris Rail's service to Birmingham International.
Finally the southbound Freightliner Intermodal hauled by a pair of Class 90s.
NOTE: Correction to caption at 4:22 - its 390008! Don't know why I put it as a 66.
