I’m leaning towards havoc over the war eagle. I am interested in a 1550 or 1553. I already have a SeaArk Vcat 20’ (big boat for me). I want something really small for the wooded areas, and as much as I like mud boats I have decided against that. I won’t be doing too much stump jumping. If I go with the 15’ havoc do you think a 40 or 50 hp would be the ticket? I’m not trying. Also, I am looking at the DBST and RDBST. Kinda leaning towards the DBST. Your thoughts, which one do you have ? Thanks for listening to all my questions
More than likely I would go with a 25 on a 15 ft boat but If you need the extra kick I think a 40 is the biggest I would go. Also I would go dbst in a 15/50 but only if you want a tiny boat that will go places. My brother has a 15/50 havoc with a 25 and it will almost keep up with my 16/53 with a 50. A 15/50 would be nice to get you places but it also is small if you want to use it to fish or do any recreational activities with it. I would seriously consider a 25 on a 15/50 though it is a good combination.
It would be fine to run gator tail on it. There are better boat options for mud motors but if you really like the dbst I would go for it. If you look at my other boat video that boat was a dbst and it does just fine.
Ok preciate it just waitin to get approved by the bank now im cool with outboard but these rivers round here in southwest tennessee get low and logged up til bout janurary
@@WillCamp4 ok cool, looks the have the same bottom as an MST. When you turn at speed, does it grip pretty good or do you slide alittle? Does it handle ok in open water going across a lake?
@@DallasGT It grips really good idk if I've ever slid even wide open. It handles great in any condition as long as the water is calm. If the water is choppy you may bounce some but that is typical for any boat.
