Yet another beautiful tea revealed, Kevin🌺. I, too, would've eaten the delicate chive ribbon carefully encasing the tea sandwich, yum! And I must say, the flower arrangement is a definite winner; adore how you utilize all the garden plants you have thoughtfully procured. Best to you, Mr.🦊, and all y'all's fur babies. P.S. a one-week-old baby squirrel was discovered in our driveway almost 48 hours ago. Unfortunately the mother is no where to be found, so we are doing our best to see that the littlest angel is cared for. We certainly hope the little fellow will respond to our feeding of kitten formula and unflavored pediasure. Here's to hoping for the best for this sweet soul. 💜

Do I need another cookbook? Short answer, yes! I only have a 5-shelf bookcase of good cookbooks, and another 30" in a cabinet over the oven :) Things should be beautiful and useful - said someone. What could be more lovely than afternoon tea. When my adult granddaughters come to visit. (Not very often. They are so busy) I always make an afternoon tea with lovely treats. They just love it. It’s something young people don’t do these days. Haven’t got time I suppose. Well I get all my fancy bone china out and cake stand and lovely tea pot. I use loose leaf tea and strainer. Fresh flowers, napkins. I think they are mildly amused at it all. 😂😂 Kevin I love your videos. It’s so calming watching you. Thank you for the joy you bring to us.

It’s wonderful to be able to go to the vegetable garden for celery stalks to use in recipes. However, I think that the afternoon tea should be ice tea rather than served hot during summer months.

The strawberry chicken salad tea sandwiches remind me of a childhood friend's birthday party, at which her mother had made strawberry tea sandwiches and I thought they were so elegant and different. Delicious, but maybe more like cream cheese strawberry. I can't remember if they had chicken or not. Good memory though. These sandwiches look delicious. I will need to try. Fun animal action shots on the staircase featuring all three of your fur babies. So cute! Also noticed Avery contemplating the chicken salad on the counter, while you were out of the kitchen. My dog George used to do. He was a great dog, but couldn't always be trusted to "guard" the chicken salad, steak, or hamburger, if left alone. Southern Living had a recipe for a chicken strawberry mandarin orange salad served on a bed of romaine lettuce in an Azteca salad bowl. Even had the recipe for a strawberry vinaigrette. It was Devine. This looks absolutely delicious. Always soften butter at 50% in your microwave ! Another favorite cucumber sandwich recipe was published years ago by Calvin Cowie There’s just nothing like tea in the afternoon. Always love YT recommendations ❤

This took me back to my childhood days in India where we used to have high tea at tea time in boarding school that was run by English missionaries. I really enjoyed this episode thank you. Everything looked delicious and presented with such class. I was missing the milk pot. We always added milk in the tea. I was also very excited when you mentioned the tea was Darjeeling Tea because I grew up and lived there too!

That was really good. I'm going to try the chive ribbons, as I'm always making tea sandwiches. In fact, I think it's time for a KLJ Facebook recipes book... because I can't recall the thousand dishes you've prepared, and I want to be able to browse through and take my pick from time to time.
