So happy that you didn't take James out of the intro. "Where's the dish?" is iconic.

I really think Mike deserved to score himself an 8. He made sure the Jam could be Jam, did half the pastries, cleaned up, and started on sandwiches for ben all despite panicking.

I actually think Ben underrated himself. He was absolutely flying during those fifteen minutes and it's not like he just made PBJ, he made really good looking sandwiches.

Ebbers’ “we’ll talk about it at the table” is like when a teacher writes “see me” on your homework

The theme "afternoon tea" always reminds me of Ben saying "I am a bit of a lad myself."

Here's an idea for a twist: Each person gets an ingredient that they have to incorporate into the final dish. The others don't know which ingredient it is.

I giggled when Ben said "Oolong! That's very Janice!" because Oolong (烏龍) in Cantonese is also a word to describe a clumsy/careless/forgetful person. Don't tell Janice that!

the fact that you moved each guy's time to 15 minutes is actually a good idea, at least for me. it's still frantic for the first minute for each, but the fact that everyone can actually do something end to end really helps make sense of everything.

Ben really can move like the Tasmanian Devil if the need arises.

Honestly, I'd like Sorted to one day do "Bulk serving, pass it on". They have to create enough food for the entire team whilst also doing it in a pass it on format.

I was really impressed by how well the "Normals" did. Really well done. Topped off by "The Ebbers Effect" at the end made this an afternoon tea I would gladly try at home.

Each person chooses 1 thing from the table that HAS to go into the dish and puts it under a cover so the rest don't know what they chose. THEN tell them the theme! Dessert? Did Ben choose prawns? Oh well, has to go in! The four items can be relieved after the theme for a group panic before separating to cook.

Excuse me but I died at Janice calling Mike a “shaky little sausage”. 😂

Ben: I saved an entire dish at the very end by bringing a mess of food together into a veritable feast. 7/10 Also Ben: I just made sandwiches. 7/10?

I died when Jamie started brushing the scones with milk that he was holding in his hand.

Ebbers is such a Freakin Wizard, his true colours come out, he doesn't bother with the fake puzzlement he KNOWS the jam is chilling, and here's a buncha fancy sandwiches. Turned it up to ELEVEN OUTA TEN YO. I also really liked how Mike ACTUALLY passed it on.

Mike basically calling himself a shaky little sausage gives us a great insight on him as a person

I think this was probably one of Barry’s best performances yet one of his lowest scores, he really is the gift that keeps on giving. I mean add a load of lime pickle to a dish and get an 8, yet actually be sensible and create a good desert as a component to the final dish and he scores himself a 6. Shame he’s too critical on himself when he doesn’t cause chaos😂😂

Jamie: (whispers) 'how do you make scones?' Barry: I dunno! This will go great.

I personally like watching these when they are successful. I'm sure other people prefer when it's a disaster. The difference this time is that everyone was a team player and there wasn't someone trying to think differently but had no plan on how to communicate the unique idea to the rest of the team...

Are they actually getting the hang of this or is making afternoon tea in their British DNA?

The guys are too humble. Imagine if you had a single hour's notice for afternoon tea guests and you kicked out THAT spread - actually really impressive!

“What’s in the oven? This looks alright. What are they though?” - Mike Yep… this is me walking into any kitchen where there is an oven on.

Even though it was a total of 1 hour, breaking up the time into separate turns really throws off the rhythm and everyone did spectacular today on equal progress!! A real team effort, very impressive

Why did seeing Jamie so proud of himself after his turn make me smile so much 😃

Idea for a future Pass It On: Coffee and Cake. The boys have 15 minutes each to make a creative coffee based beverage (hot or cold, brewed or espresso, cocktail or not) and sweet treat to pair with it. Order: let's get the crew involved, and have them pick it. Have 1 crew member assign the boys in order, then tell them the theme.

Ben saying "I only made sandwiches" seems like he's being unfair to himself. It was all he had left to do. If he'd gone first and just made the sandwiches it would be a valid criticism

Pass it on fusion food: each person has to add the food of another country to the dish. So the 1st person picks a country and uses an ingredient native to that country’s cuisine then the 2nd person has to add an ingredient from a different country to the dish on so on.

Watching Ben making those sandwiches are making me happy, that's literally magic, not to mention I've been wanting to make some sandwiches for myself for weeks!

From the icon on my phone all I could see was that this was tea time, and I was excited for some explanations. Then when I clicked and saw it was pass it on I got excited for the impending carnage. You've ruined me for other cooking shows! 🤣

I feel like the badges have really REALLY helped Jamie improve himself. He's not scared to use recipes, he'll clean down now, and he'll consider the people coming after him in Pass It On. I feel like all the normals have started to panic a little bit less in general, whether that be from experience in PIO itself, or from badge challenges. It's refreshing and entertaining to watch, and you get really good results like today.

what I've noticed with how the boys score themselves is- Barry: scores himself high if he felt that he added his own to the dish (sometimes a benefit, most times not), takes points only if he can find fault with himself in executing his creative vision Ben: scores himself based on how much he felt he could have done vs how much he did, scores himself higher if he heavy-handedly dragged the dish down the path he wanted James (when he was still doing these): similar to Ben, scores himself based on how much he felt he could have done vs how much he did, scores himself lower if he felt like he derailed things Jamie: scores himself high if he surprised himself with how much he contributed, scores himself low if he spent too much time snacking and figuring out what went on before, rarely scores himself in the middle ground (unless he only felt like he pushed things along) Mike: harshest on himself, rarely scores himself high, always critical of his work

The day James’ “Where’s the dish?!” gets removed from the relay video intro, will be a sad day, indeed.

Funny how Jamie's started prepping for a kladkakka but left no clues. I would've thought he wanted to make brownies or something. Order suggestion: Attendance that day. Earliest first. Theme: A 'surprise inside' food. Basically, when you cut into whatever they make, there's some food element hidden inside it.

Pass it on - a variety of soups. themes: spring, summer, autumn, winter!

Im now upset that I've never tried a food that sounds as amazing as kladdkaka.

Favourite sandwich of the week: Dark toasted bread : a load of cream cheese mashed thawed green peas, some chopped cashew or other nuts and some sprouts. - Love to try a new sandwich every week - such an underrated food :)
