the way she showed Agatha actually upset after Rio agreed to her deal in the beginning of the episode. Like, there's soooo much story and complex contradicting feelings of their relationship told through just Kathryn and Aubrey's faces
This show solidified Jac Schaefer S one of the MCU’s best storytellers imo. Between this show and WandaVision, I love how protagonist-driven these narratives are. *Nothing* happens in these stories that isn’t the direct result of the lead character’s flaws and psychology. I love that between Billy and Agatha we have a character clinging onto life for life’s sake, who sees life as the ultimate good, and a character running away from death not because she really wants to live, she just wants to die *less.*
Loved how you called everyone out on forgetting all about Sharon, Jess. Even Lady Death forgot about her, which, well, apart from everything else, that’s just rude.
@@dwnkaomwn3953 Agatha said that’s there’s like 120 bodies that “empty out” every minute. An unfortunate situation that just happens to work out positively for Billy and Tommy.
It's a great twist when you don't see it coming but it doesn't come out of nowhere and in retrospect makes so much sense. On top of the dialogue that they noted, the end credits of each episode has been showing us all the elements from Billy's room that inspired the road and I never even considered that until now!
Huge fan of being able to look back at something with hindsight. Agatha has dealt with a Maximoff construct before so she just had to think what would be the rules established by a teen witch like she did when the rules were established by a sitcom obsessed witch. And to the rest of the coven (us included) it just seemed like she understood the road.
more than that- she knew that Billy believed fully that she'd been on the Road. That meant any "fact' she told Billy about how the Road worked had high chance (but not 100%) of becoming reality. So sometimes, it seemed like she knew what was going on because she was essentially deciding it- but she was also off guard sometimes because Billy had the real control to change or add or remove things.
I think the bit that broke me the most was when Billy asked “am I killing this boy?” You could feel that he still has guilt like he was responsible for William’s death.
Danke an alle Beteiligten!!!❤❤❤❤
Prayers for your furbaby....He has a wonderful Mom...My Duncan is 10 and I've been dealing with not sleeping and he cant have a cone of shame... He's a beagle mix and would rip it off... He's quite brilliant and persistent... Prayers ❤🙏😇
Joe and Kathryn, and really all the actors, have absolutely killed the series. But wow. The work they did to leave you guessing and making everything feel super important without giving a clue to WHY it was important.
Damn Aubrey Plaza brought it in this episode. However to me her best acted scene was when Agatha said when she died she never wanted to see her again you can see that despite being a cosmic entity that line HURT Rio to hear from someone that you can tell she still loved
I feel like this show really stuck the landing. I appreciate the changes from the source material. It kept even comic book readers on their toes. More importantly, they nailed all the emotional beats.
I envy everyone who didn't see this twist coming. I got a bit too deep into the theories online and saw someone predict everything from the last two episodes almost perfectly. I learned my lesson... :D
The bit with Alice is so sad, but I love how Rio reminds her that she *did* do something with her life. It wasn't pointless. Alice isn't ready, but she is given a semblance of peace. I really also love how despite her interactions with Agatha, she is actually very kind.
Jenn getting her power back, the way she made us feel her wholeself was AMAZING!!!! THE KISS OF DEATH WHAT!?! Favourite episode 7-8 !!! Sad we didn't see Rio coming to get Lilia and SHAAA-RONNNN 😂❤ 🖤 LOVE love LOVE this show AnD the twist about the road WOW !
Gosh Mr Kaplan is so handsome that bee keeping aged son of a gun....focus me! Focus. "Sometimes boys just die" really gutted me. She's so willing to be so human when she's all alone 😢😢😢
First you look so beautiful and I love love you and your reaction videos, we could cry buddies 😥 your making me cry everytime you get emotional in a certain scene.
I know you've seen Sandman too, how do you compare the portrayal of Death there with here? I've got to say I love them both as performances but they're written as very different.
Thanks for all the fun times reacting to the show. You've been one of my favorite reactors. About the finale, I am sort of getting Randal and Hopkirk Deceased vibes (show where a detective has a ghost partner). I wonder if Agatha will be stuck to Billy from now on? Vampire Hunter D is another title with a similar concept. I think his hand is a separate ghost or Demon. Anyways, I think that could be a way to spice up Billy's character. I like him good enough, sure. But we haven't really seen him alone yet, except ep 6 sort of, and I didn't really like that episode. I also wouldn't be surprised to see the actress who played Jen appear in some other property now. I'd like to see her again. She did just do an interview on the Katee Sackhoff Podcast, here on RU-vid. I don't think she mentioned any other projects, but she did say that they are keeping them tight lipped,, at Disney.
Will we be getting reaction to ep 9 today as well? Also sorry to hear about your pup ❤ hope he heals up soon and you can get some rest! Couldn’t tell at all 😊
