I actually love the Age of Civilisation games. Yeah they're not CK2 but they're still a fun little time passer, a bit like minesweeper rather than grand strategy.
Although dissapointing realism in AI and mostly war strategies. This game is cheap and well addicting as i don't care about the amount of hate and the realism about the ways to declare war
Use hotkeys such as enter and escape to navigate armies, you can right click on a province that is unreachable in one turn and the army will get there as soon as it can, also press twice on diplomacy to go into standard view, its much easier that way.
@@mikebather6688 I thnk you have to rescale the map for that. (Make it smaller) Just look around in the options. That's at least how it works on the mobile version
the thing is, it's ported to pc, and there's quite a lot of strategy games with better control and have different options, as well as having unit design and not just a number on screen, although it does have a lot of details, it's not aesthetically nice compared to other games, yes there is only 1 developer but so do other games, plus this game has been out for quite a long time as well as other games with only one developer
@@alfonzom6 At least its not a fucking paradox game with 100+ DLC's. Its not a bad game if you play it properly. There are also nice mechanics i would want in HOI4 as example
@@chazammm7818 yes it lacks dlc. It also looks like a clone of eu3/4 in regards to design and lacks the depth youd want out of a pc strategy game. Just because it was made by 1 guy doesnt make it sacrosanct
From my experience with this game, you can trade with other countries to make them declare war on anyone you want, for free. Using this information, I deduct that Switzerland staged every single conflict.
@@potatogamer1431 first, open the country information and type in the chat: hi Then, there are some cheats like Money: gives you 300 gold Army: Select a province and there will be 300 units ID: gives information to the province you select War : A war breaks out between the two nation (doesnt work if there is a truce) Diplomacy: will generate you diplomacy points Sorry, I dont know any more.
This game is actually a really well made game for a 5$ made by a single developer... definately a better value than other map games that are 60$ which are essentially the same game.
Clicking on the flag in the top left will bring up a menu at the top left of the menu you will see your nation's flag however if you click on it, the flag will flip upside down and a message will show up showing you a sad face, clicking on it again will flip the flag back however, if you keep doing it eventually you'll get a message saying "Psst... Hey kid, wanna buy some juicy DLC to flip the flag back?" Clicking on it again to flip it back will reveal another message, this one says "Just kidding, that would be a Paradox to pay for that!"
I remember playing AOC1 and it was way worse than this Random stuff was happening but I loved the game and waited a whole year waiting for this game to come out Honestly, I think it's a cool game, especially when I waited the entire 2018 for it to come out
I waited longer then that lol I played the first one back in 17 give or take. I actually hadn't played the game in awhile before I found out he finally released the sequel and haven't stopped playing it since
Everytime period has a special character for the era, so even if Winston isn't ruling at that time he does come around in the same era. They also give special boosts. * Also play MOTE some more *
If you select your troops, press T and click on some province, they will automaticly move there. Also press Space instead of clicking the buttons, it makes recruiting troops much faster. Don't let your borders against enemy civilization be unguarded - the AI will move in and you'll have to chase it's troops down. It's REALLY annoying.
Ok so scroll down if you don't care about this, but I made up a little war scenario in my (Nazi Germany) campaign against France. The Italian military has been pushed out of France, and in some areas even out of their own land. The Italians did well originally, but now the French military has finally mobilized its entire mass into southern France. Time is running out for Mussolini. With the French army marching just miles north of Rome, Mussolini is freaking out. Mussolini had contacted Hitler many times before, requesting support, but Hitler always denied, citing the fact that hundreds of thousands of German troops would die in a war that should have been easy for Italy. However, with the imminent fall of Italy, Hitler feared Germany would become the lone Fascist nation, and finally decided to join. On January 4, 1939 Hitler declared war on Belgium, France, and the Netherlands. Over the following weeks, Britain, and many of its colonies would join the war against Hitler, causing the outbreak of a second world war. The German troops swiftly conquered Belgium, marching through its cities with little to none resistance. The British marines poured into Amsterdam, and France quickly moved their entire army to the north, choosing their own nation, rather than the end of Mussolini's. Hundreds of thousands of soldiers faced off in Alsace-Lorraine, but it remained a stalemate throughout most of the war, as both Germany and France's focus was on the Netherlands. Aided by Britain and France, the Netherlands surprisingly pushed the Germans back, restoring hope in their nation. This hope was short lived however, as reinforcements from the Waffen S.S. arrived, crumbling the Netherlands to its knees. With the loss of the Netherlands, the war was now taken to France itself, a dread the French had tried to avoid. With the help of German volunteers, Italy had taken almost all of southern France, nearly reaching the Atlantic coast. Italy made no major advances through the rest of the war. 970k German troops marched through the French northern coast, taking city after city. The British were of no help, as they lost most of their best forces in the battle of Amsterdam. Paris was now within sight of the Wehrmacht. In Alsace-Lorraine, the Germans flanked the French forces, encircling 309k troops in the region. Approximately 790k German troops marched through the French countryside, taking province after province, city after city. On March 18, the Wehrmacht began an assault on Paris, which appeared as a skirmish first, before the French realized it was a full blown invasion. Every French unit nearby was mobilized, but there were over 1.3m German troops nearly surrounding the city. The next day the French abandoned the city, and top Government officials were evacuated to an unknown location. After Paris fell, there was no hope for the French. The Germans were now just 2 provinces away from the coast, and the British had pulled all of their troops from mainland Europe, with the uprising of a fascist rebellion in Ireland. 21 days later, the French surrendered. During negotiations, Germany annexed Belgium, the Netherlands, a ton of NE France, and was now very close to Paris. Italy got a lot of southeastern France, and Britain and France had to pay war reparations. The rebellion had been suppressed in Ireland with British help, but everyone knew that both Britain and France would never recover from this war, and that Europe would never be the same again...
For mobile game created by one guy its really good game! And best part of it,its not too lagy if you game go very long. When you dont have anything to play its fun time spend."^^ (Srry for bad english.-.)
I love the game so much I even tried to form German empire when I formed Weimar Republic. (Note: I had the Aptiode version of the game with sandbox unlocked and yeah I did small wars and also I tried to beat Timurds (how do you spell it) as a small vassal and lost)
It's timurid, by the way my empire has now bordered next to timurid empire after i annexed its close friend as i place my hundred thousands army at its border and I'm not very confident fighting them head on either, if i were you i would go with the rebels before i wreck them altogether, that's why i chose to support the rebels as half of the world became my enemies
I can recomend you some mods if you don't know them like, TNO for AoH2 that add some events and Age of Imperialism that adds over 500 total events on the mod and new provinces and ideologys
Yeah, he talked mad shit on twitter among his Twitter followers because he knew he would get circlejerked really hard. When he got called out on it, he had to have himself a humble wank and tried to tell people to stop, sarcastically.
The emu war was when there were too many emus in Australia and they were destroying all the crops in Australia. So Australia’s government declared war in the emus.
Watch tutorial videos on RU-vid. Even Turkish people are making great ones. The mistake isn't yours. This game is hard to learn, easy to master, unlike the description of it.
Actually there is a easier way to Be the country You wanna Be. You just have to click the land of the country You wanna Be. Than over the button called ADD player You click on the random country it has selected. Than You still have clicked on the land of the country You wanna Be. And than click ADD player and than click play. It sounds complicated but it takes 2 seconds.
