Only thing I'd correct is the tree chopping. When they chop a tree, the entire tree disappears and it becomes a stump from an entirely different species of tree

AoE 3 "corrected" most of that. Units have a different attack animation against buildings, for instance, and villagers defend themselves with their hunting weapons.
They could have at least made the farm's have a few small fires on them when they are damaged instead of a odd looking single fireball that appears in the center of them anytime they are on low HP from enemy damage. :P

It should be important to note that there is big hunting bows and war bows so I hunter cannot just use their bow and arrows to take out heavily armoured enemy soldiers.

Medieval battles are greatly summarised in an event where a battering ram damages the field and causes it to catch on fire. Naturally, the field may remain to be on fire while someone is later harvesting it.🧐
My favorite part was when the enemy surrendered, and I would attack all their buildings, leaving the hp as low as possible, then I would just watch everything burn for a few minutes

Whats wrong there? A ram attacking a field by hitting the air, the field starts burning and somehow still works without any issues and the villager repairs it by hitting the ground with a hammer?
