Some great tips especially about placing buildings near the lumber camps. I personally prefer towers with arrow slits vs walls because you don't always want to straight up stop the opponent from rushing, ideally you want to encourage them to continue rushing but making inefficient trades while doing so. Gotta keep dangling that carrot and then pulling it away at the last moment. Towers, arrow slits, textiles and villager melee armour and steeled arrow, (for towers and vills) and healing units (monks abby of kings etc) are all great turtle tools to use in the turtle toolbox. Walls can tend to force them out of their rush and into a boom which you don't really want.

I would love to see in-game UI information about a resource acquisition e.g how much food from which source gives a single villager. It would be easier for beginners and other players to make some strategies. Currently, we can see only total resource/minute income.

Unique guide, got me thinking about things a little differently.

Question: if I have say 20 barracks grouped, and start building 10 spearmen, which 10 barracks are used ? Is it automatically the 10 barracks NEAREST to the rally point, or the 10 barracks FIRST BUILT ? Aussie talks about building production near the battle-front, but do we have to group those frontline buildings specifically to use only them, or will the game know to use the barracks nearest the rally point, NOT a barracks halfway across the map away from the battle-front ?

Would love to see more of this for all factions TBH :)

Thank you for explaining the trick with the wall parts to delete. I had no idea what the Twitch streamers were doing. How long has the issue been around? Can we expect it to be fixed in an update? Is it affecting only palissade walls, or stone walls as well?

I leave tram lines to put towers in cos I play a lot of 4v4 you often get mass drive by with knights in imperial.. I put tram lines with springald towers and I always leave space for white tower and Berkshire. I also plan for 64 to 72 farms. You basically want towers on all the corners and litterally a lie of them like a cross and then you want white tower and Berkshire a bit like how you did your second tc and third tc. If I think I am going to be able to rush imperial I put white tower at the back and Berkshire at front. I hate missing wynguard Palace but it's neccesary

Something I've been been doing is building my farms towards the safest edge of the map. In this example, I would've build my farms towards the North/East wall
