Eagle Warrior is mesoamerican unit, not an South american Building set doesn't fit. should be similiar to the Wonder The kamayuk is amazing, and is historical correct! I love the wonder
Good example by green to show how effective early towers are. Way behind on the score..... heavy overload on workers on stone to build a number of towers that protected one another and the villagers. Great teamwork as well.

No, it is not an official expansion released by Microsoft. But it can be said as the 3rd expansion in the series as the the team creating it have put great effort in making it a real expansion, just like late Ensemble would have done it. And it will be free with single player campaigns (from unconfirmed sources).
Replace Eagle Warrior with humans with stones, The man with Stone is a soldier who has a spear with stone and throws stones with spear, was used in the Spanish conquest, i think the man with stones attack bonus against infantry, because the stone kill soldiers easy. In my opinion the soldier have 60 HP and 7 AP, in Elite Man with Stone(Imperial Age) have 80 HP and 9 AP. This unit available in barracks
Yes, true, the peak was under Justinian but even "eastern roman empire" is a term we use today. Called Romans by their neighbors and themselves. Constantinople was also a greek name greek city. The whole point is. Yes it continuation of the Roman empire but because it was vastly different and greek was the language of the empire we coined it the Byzantine empire because Constantinople is located on the ancient city of Byzantium, an old Greek Colony dating back to the 7th century.
I dont need to. I'm just saying Byzantine is just a term we use now to differentiate between them and their old roman counter parts. Though they reffered to themselves as romans and so did their neighbours. From a cultural and linguistic perspective it was Greek. The emperors were greeks and most if not all of the writing from them is in greek. Yes it was a continuation but they were different.
Well I know a Widescreen Mod has existed for a long time now, but it IS included in the Forgotten Empires. My comment still stands. Also, for a bit I believe the widescreen mod available wasn't quite elegant as it was stretching stuff and had HUD problems, at least aesthetically.
It's an 'Unofficial' Expansion made by the modding community. It adds 5 new civilization, changes Population Limit from 200 to 1000, adds widescreen support and thus HD resolution (1080p), and more. Look it up on google, they have an official website. It kicks ass seriously.
I think that on a game to game level Age 3 is almost inevitably better, but it's not a classic like Age 1 and 2. There's no emotional aspect like a part of your childhood, it's just another game. That's why everyone loves and enjoys Age 2 more.

yes, being Russian myself, Slavs are normally pegged as being Russians, but it is also inclusive in Ukrainians, Slovenes, Serbians (in many respects) and generally Northern Balkans like the Czech and Slovakia :)

Whether it's 8 * 200 or 8 * 300 won't make much difference, I think. Look at the minimum systemr equirements of AoE, every 200 € home office computer is good enough to play AoE zwice!

Hmm. I think it was a bit of a pity that each civ attacked the enemy of the same civ; I mean, it would be nice to see some slav vs incas, rather than blocks of eagle warriors attacking each other. Can't really tell the testers how to play though I suppose :P

It doesn't matter how far it is. Greek colony's were stretching all over asia minor,Egypt, Italy,France (bc). The Byzantine's were Greek its a known fact! Greek Orthodox. The emperors were Greeks.
