Could you explain why upgrade hunting dog first then spamming villagers for any job? I thought build 2 dwarfs first for gold, then upgrade hunting dog after that would be optimal?
I do it to maximize the rate of food gathering as fast as possible in order to reach Classical Age fast, allowing me to rush early. Delaying upgrading Hunting Dogs could make reaching Classical later, I believe.
IMO, Isis is the best one. Great economy, best combo in the game with Ancestors + Eclipse, solid against rushes and very strong late game. Thor is very good for a more offensive play style, being the best Norse god. I also enjoy Zeus a lot, very balanced and solid against most other gods, except Isis, lol.
