My favorite part about this game is actually having a whole army finished and seeing these enormous creatures with siege weapons and ordinary soldiers marching in a neat formation. It's one of the most high-fantasy things a game can show me.
Seems like all the Ensemble Studio game soundtracks had crazy names. Probably inside jokes between Stephen Rippy and Kevin McMullan. The AoE3 names are especially bonkers.
before a war commence, me gathering resources around while enjoying the crispy sunny fresh view of bushes and sandy ground with nice coconut trees behind.. and some water ponds.. and this song plays in the background... damn amazing....
+Tony T I like how you replied to more than one of the videos on the playlist. Someday someone like us with actual funds will recreate this masterpiece. Forget Microsoft they would botch it anyways.
Jamie T. Thanks man. Yeah bro this game is just amazing. If something like that gonna happen, I'm in. Well they should bare this in mind, this game gave them a huge push towards games like crisis need for speed and so on.
just listened to a remix of this the other day. With all this Coronavirus stuff going on, i have time to reinstall it and play the game again! i wanna listen to all this amazing music and clear the story like when i was a kid!
Jayo Caine most developers no longer listen to their rts communities.. other than Blizzard or maybe some, how many still make lots of patches to fix problems & imbalance?
patches and imbalance are not the problem. Plenty of popular games suffer from imbalance. The fact of the matter is no one wants to micromanage a million different things to Asian level. People just don't like RTS plain and simple. RTS died because there's no demand for them.
Agreed. It all comes down to game design. After all life stress, people play game because it is fun and relaxing. Game that is stressful like most RTS is just a contradiction for me & anyone that demands RTS to be clicking based (maybe hardcore rts fans) just don't understand reality. People rather get a degree than multitasking or hitting 500 apm in RTS game. But i think there is hope for RTS games to comeback once most people understand this.
@@mrpo3496 Uh. Except you don't need high APM when playing RTS offline, which is what most people do anyway? I can see why your argument makes it less attractive for multiplayer, but not singleplayer. If you feel the game is poorly designed thats down to that specific game, not its entirely genre.
Replayed the game this week after years, and oh my, i didn't remember the soundtrack being this good. And now i'm playing the Titans expansion for the first time, absolutely OP.
If you can get it, remember there’s another expansion, but people don’t talk so much about it, it’s “Tale of the Dragon”, which has chinese gods, released 13 years later. I didn’t play it, só I don’t know if it’s good or not, but it’s real.
Recuero que mi personaje favorito era un chakal de 500 de vida y disparaba rayos. Contra las unidades mítica pegaba muy duro y las bajaba en cuestión de nada, lo malo de ese personaje era que no se podía curar ni con un sacerdote. Excelente juego 🎉❤
Yesterday I went to Bergama ancient city and this music plays in my head. If you are e real addict of this game you exactly go to Bergama ancient city. Also you can go to Efes ancints city. Turkey has many historical places. Wonderful !
