Teclis: It's over slaanesh! forever will you be bound and cast in chains! Slaanesh: "Ohhh yes! you dirty dirty boy! mhhmmmm". and everyone else proceeded to be creeped the hell out and get as far away from that pocket realm as they could.

I think the important thing, and something that makes Slaanesh more intimidating, is that Slaanesh is the god of excess, not just lust. Scheming, making people obsess over your every action and detail, is right in line with Slaanesh. Makes Slaanesh’s threat to the other Chaos Gods that much more dire

I didn't realize there'd be this much lore on Slaanesh's situation, but I'd imagine with this being so crucial to the stories of his armies, it makes sense after a fact. I'd really like to see a grand story of a war with a Slaaneshi army set on breaking one of the chains. The idea of it provides a great baseline for narratives going forward.

This is great! My girlfriend wants to get into AoS by making a Slaanesh army and these videos are really helping me explain all the ins and outs of this very deep lore. He's her favorite Chaos God by far. Thanks, Doug! Always enjoy your stuff!

The looming threat that might annihilate the elves in one go, the 63 plots are a plus; the elves don't know about it, so they can't be paranoid about it - it cannot be an in-game threat, that's maybe a minus. Sooner or later they'll let the secret out

Once again, another great video. One thing I really appreciate, by not having Slannesh breaking free, really shows how GW is taking it's time to develop this lore/ Mythos. The table is really being set with some great things in the future.

I really think that Slaaneshs release will be tied to the opening of the Realm of Light. If I remember there was stories about the decadence and arrogance growing in that realm that has corrupted its foundation. With this I really hope that we get some true Mortal Slaanesh units. The lack of them in the new book is my only negative with this release. Slaanesh armies have always lacked good mortal units and has always been daemon heavy.

FYI - The story you referred to in the last video does not necessarily involve a Grey Knight (I would argue it does not, since Grey Knight lore indicates that no Grey Knight has ever fallen to Chaos). It can be found in Codex: Chaos Daemons. The 8th edition codex has some pages w/o printed page numbers, but it would be on pages 22-23.

I really enjoy listening to this video! Great choice of background music, I also find that your voice is at the right tone, it really gives an impression of how powerful and threatening Slaanesh can be. He /she is now my favourite chaos god, I look forward to what gw plan for the future, I can see slaanesh being released at the end of a big narrative campaign, with, maybe slaanesh mortals and new aelves or/and AoS 3.

I believe Slaanesh will be released with a updated elf book which will show how the elves are in Age of Sigmar. It will probably be released with a elf/ slaanesh box set like how the nighthaunt army was.

Forgive my ignorance as I’m new to AoS while being an ex-Warhammer Fantasy player in the late 90’s. I was a High Elf player who loved Teclis and Tyrion.... Where are the armies related to these Gods??? Oh, and I’m bingeing on your channel and I’m completely addicted. Keep up the good work!

I like to think 40k is set 40,000 years before the events of Warhammer Fantasy. Where Chaos survived, but the universe did not die from the hands of the Chaos Gods and Tyranids. I like to think some major events caused the surviving Humans, Eldar, Orcs, and other races to find a new home on a distant world in a new galaxy far from the Gods where the Humans and Eldar who now became Elves rebuilt their societies and Gods through the magic of the world they inhabited. Over time they became primitive and forgot their technologies all together in favor of magic and then Chaos returns once again. That's the only way I see it making sense to me. Anyway, it's nice to see at least one of the Chaos Gods finally getting what's coming to them.

who do you think is the most powerful chaos God? (I know khorne is the most powerful at the moment but which if they are all stock standard?) if that question is too difficult which do you think is the coolest. (the question is not just for 2+ tough)
@NMahon

I think it's actually the great horned rat, Skaven are known to be the biggest threat as in terms of sheer numbers they outweigh any force. I think it's the same with the great horned rat, he has the most followers but because they can't organise and constantly infight, they never get much done. I think a lot his power is hidden when compared to Khorne so I believe he is secretly the most powerful!

@foulmoodcentral2830
@foulmoodcentral2830 5 лет назад
@@winterwind9217 Only in his own scheming mind, he plots for the sake of plotting, schemes to scheme. there's no endgame for him only that everything continues going apace. (very much like GW *ahem*) normally i would say that Nurgle is the greatest power, for everything must go into decay and entropy, and its happenend before at the end of fantasy. everything withers so it can begin a new cycle. but this time though, the most powerful is the one you think is doing the most damage or impact on all the mortal realms. and i think that goes to the skaven, they're a problem to everyone and everywhere.
