TRAVEL NURSE SALARY UK/EASY STEPS ARE REQUIREMENTS TO BECOME AN AGENCY NURSE IN UK 🇬🇧 😀 • AGENCY NURSE SALARY UK... agency nursing UK nurses salary nhs nurse private nurse care home nurse travel nurse
Uk national here and former NHS paediatric nurse. Starting up agency nursing now purely for freedom of shift choice and increased pay rates. Mainly shifts in the midlands. For other paediatric nurses’ knowledge, pay is under the specialised nurse rates with a mean ph rate of £40 with lows of £30 and highs of £60 but this higher rate is as expected bank holidays etc. Considering as a Band 5 nurse I was on £16ish per hour I feel the return is fantastic and actually how we should be recognised. Read a paper report that in 2021 the NHS paid over £9 billion to both bank and agencies to cover shifts and even then they’re at breaking point. The paperwork aspect is intense but seemingly once you create a folder for one then the others accept 90% of that content and you just have to do their own basic maths paper etc to check medicine management competence. Not sure about agencies not accepting ltd companies though as 3 I spoke to yesterday had all three options explained in video. Higher rates do tend to be paid to ltd companies and although there’s extra ways to cut tax this way it’s also much more work with potential cost associated via accountancy etc. Thanks for the vid and hope my input might assist anyone else reading too
Information is this part of the world is very crucial. The daily Dms i receive from fellow migrates regarding their financial struggles in uk is becoming alarming. There's oil in the land!! Guys use the system for your good and thank me later 😍🥰
How did you get signed off in those competencies as an Endoscopy nurse. I got an offer as a theater practitioner but I am worried I will not get the opportunity to be signed off in those bedside nursing skills to enable me pick up agency shifts
Hello Becca, I wanted to know that after being recognized as Band 5 nurse in UK what are the additional benefits I may get of having APRN degree in ICU specialization from Europe? I have completed this MSN degree this year. Thanks.
Very interesting, I had to watch the ads afterwards. Just for clarity please, does this means your previous work from your home country isn't counted as experience for you? And if you want to do agency before 6 months it should be a carer job.
They want 6 months of UK experience cuz system here is different although they acknowledge the fact that u have been a nurse back home. They mostly won't book u shifts to kick of without 6months experience
Can you work bank and agency as well so far it’s all 20 hrs a week in total. What do u do if u are already working as bank nurse and do you have to tell your employers?
The bank shift doesn't count as part of the 20hrs if its in ut own trust so u can do agency in addition but that will affect ur tax deduction and u would have to tell ur employer if its stated in your contract
Thanks so much for all the videos... God bless you real good. Please is there any Care homes or Nursing Homes in the UK with sponsorship for nurses recruiting for now ?? Asking for a wife. We based in Nigeria
