This is his first solo concert in his country after back show from Chines and of course he will sweat cause his concert passed two houres and more. And where he was not only sang high notes and danced too. This is the story behind this song.When western colonial expansion took away the independence of Kazakhstan, poet and teacher Magzhan Zhumabayev enlightened his people on freedom and modernization. Under a repressive regime he was arrested and jailed for conspiracy. Along with countless others he was executed during "the great terror" in the 1930s.While in prison he was mistakenly informed that his wife had left him. And so he wrote this song thinking about her and their love. Also, Dimash is a multi-instrumentalist. He plays dombra, piano, drums, guitar, bass guitar, keyboard, marimba, bayan and cello. Hi Marcel, Very suspicious reaction there...Lol. At the start they were all playing the Dombra en masse, most Kazakh children are taught to play their national instrument and Dimash has been playing since age 3 or 4, his Grandad, his dad and his younger brother all play too. He usually plays dombra when he performs "Daididau" a song he his always proud to share with his audiences and the pride always shows when he finishes it.
