I’m not really a BIG fan of chuck norris but I do like him and i have to say that even though the editing was poorly done, I thought that it still looked kind of bad ass! He might be 83 years old, but I think that that’s what they were going for; an old rugged man that looks like he’s had lots of experience in war to play this type of robot role. If they wanted to go for someone younger I think they would have done it.

Doubt it, he just settled a lawsuit with CBS last year. He was suing for 30+ million in 2018, with interest that number would've jumped to over 45 million by 2023. He pocketed a big chunk of change just from that.
