I'm Australian and I think it is a mostly fair representation of modern Australia but rather sanitised and idealised. The film's characters are a bunch of wimps poncing around in fancy vehicles too delicate to walk or do those distances on a pushbike. The war boys overdo the suncream whilst us Aussies just let our skin shrivel and crisp in the sun. Us real Australians are a bit farkin rougher around the edges
hate how people who have never been mad max fans are calling this woke not knowing that miller had planned this since before most of them were even born
Years of lazy projects that had DEI initiatives forced upon them from the ground up is what caused audiences to become as blackpilled as they are today. The industry lost sight of its core values in place for short term ESG monetary gains. It has backfired spectacularly!! I really dig this movie too. Part of me wonders if Aliens or T2 came out today, would they flop too due to the sheer audience DEI burnout?? Maybe... scary thought.
Just watched Furiosa, the movie was absolutely incredible, one of the best I have seen in a long time. The story, action, music all top notch, the cinematography was superb, beautifully shot, with various times of day, the night shots were a stand out. Chris Hemsworth absolutely stole the show as Dementus. George Miller is truly a visionary director and legend. 👏
Those night shots were absolutely stunning especially when i seen it in IMAX those blue hues were gorgeous on screen. The oranges from the day shots were breathtaking as well the sand the burst of flames 🔥 the pillows of smoke from explosions it all just went hand in hand and was extraordinarily done well. The clarity and detail was soo immense i can see the sweat and dirt on characters faces in some scenes that’s how detailed the picture was. Other than the movie itself it was high octane action from when Furiosa was captured all the way until she visited The 5 Wives much more creativity displayed in this one it stood out to me a little bit more than Mad Max Fury Road Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga gets a perfect 10/10 score from me and is an absolute masterpiece. Now i hope there’s a sequel to follow up to this Into The Wasteland would be a perfect ending to this series. Now that we got a movie with Furiosa going back into her childhood and younger life it’s time to switch gears and get back into her later life or introduce a whole new story with a whole new band of characters. Mix it up a little bit but still keep it about The Wasteland and what’s it all about.
One of the best trailers/promotions ever. It shows so much but I tell you, there is still so much in this film yet to be seen. Go see it if you haven’t and give it the support it deserves. It’s a thrill from start to finish.
Fury Road had a lot of unfinished promo material too, don’t worry about it. The film was also literally just finished 2 weeks ago in post, George Miller stated this in various recent interviews.
Same reason trailers sometimes feature cut/alternate scenes or their colour grading is different. Movies sometimes aren't ready til the last few weeks or even days before release.
I’m actually really excited to see more of Immortan. He’s just so cool to look at. Evil, twisted, in Mad Max for sure, but I love his presence on screen!
Warning for people who go in expecting Fury Road 2: don't. This is more like Mad Max 2. It's slower, more dialogue heavy, and the action is toned down. It's still there, but it's not a nonstop thrill ride. I liked it still, but don't go in expecting explosions from beginning to end.
Best movie of the year and best action sequence of all time! Desert action overwhelming Dune 1.2 is sucked into the sand with the sound of a heart-throbbing engine
I was worried the movie would not keep the same quality as Fury Road due to the trailers but then I realized Fury Road did the same thing as Furiosa when using unfinished scenes in their promos
It was still dope and it actually had max in it unlike this movie where everyone seems to forget the movie series is supposed to be about max it’s called mad max for a reason
@@alexjack5158 no i haven’t but from what I’m hearing it’s good and it’s bad I also hear it isn’t making any numbers in the box office neither in my opinion tho George Miller u should done mad max the wasteland 1st instead of this one which I been waiting for the longest but more likely it will never happen since this movie isn’t doing well in the box office will never get to see mad max the wasteland at all now since this movie is a dumpster dive just saying tho🤷im still gonna watch it once the movie hits home
Watched it yesterday, and it's amazing !!! going to watch it again in IMAX! it super worth it!! and OMG I just noticed this trailer gives a quick peek on ALL THE PLOTs!!! WOW you literally watch the whole moive through this trailer. amazing they dare to reveal the whole movie through trailer this way.
Can someone please tell what does this movie got anything to with mad max if he isn’t even the main character of the movie I know it’s a prequel to fury Road but it seems like there trying to change everything about mad max now and just make it about a female character where her story ended on the 1st movie just saying tho🤷
@@gumbi5612 If you saw the original Road Warrior, the story is very similar. Dr. Dementus is at war with Immortan Joe over Gas Town and Bullet Farm. Praeterian Jack drives the war rig and Furiosa ends up on his crew. It's a world building prequel for Fury Road. You see how Furiosa became a warrior and how the war shaped the world. Dr Dementus (Chris Hemsworth) is the driving force of the movie. It's one of the best action films over the last 4 years, up there with John Wick 4 and Dune. The sequel is in development: Mad Max Wasteland. But if this movie bombs, then that will get killed.
@@anakinskywalker2142 There is a character in it, that should have played as mad max. It’s a great movie. Lots of masculine men if that’s what you’re after. 😂🤣
S Tier all the way. So ready to see it at the Imax theater on Saturday with the family (teenage kids) . . . just like I saw Beyond Thunderdome in the 80s with mine. Thank you, George Miller and family, for a wonderful ride.
Pretty much. Need to wait for reviews now, feels like without some serious not forced plot twists they gave away the whole film. Compare this to the Fury Road, which though a simple in plot fill gave away nothing in the trailer.
I guess these are the footages they showed at Cinema CON in Vegas It looks much better than the previous trailers cz I guess they finished the movie only days before the premiere but the trailers had to be rushed A lot of people who watched the movie already say the trailers don't do it justice and that the actual movie is EPIC 😎🔥
Cant wait anymore to see this Masterpiece. Reviews are superbe, 10/10 on IGN. 8 minutes standing ovation in Cannes. Everyone talks great about the movie, but it could be only like this, George Miller never miss. He is the absolute Master. Furiosa is his new astonishing Masterpiece. One of the best movies of the year , maybe the absolutely best . Cant hold the hype anymore .It's going to be Epic 🔥🤟 WHAT A LOVELY DAY🤟🔥 Edit: just saw it and it's pure epicness. It's totally a different beast compared to Fury Road, but it is just as good , epic and wild as Fury Road. This is a crazy Odyssey, a story of revenge. One of the greatest prequels ever made (maybe the greatest) and without dubts the best movie of the year (yeah i liked it more than Dune Part II and it's not even close). The acting is amazing, the photography is amazing, the CGi is spectacular and is just a little addition (which doesn't hurt but improves) to the stunts and practical effects. CGI is just a little bit , it's used wisely (like every director should do) and is really astonishing . The cinematography is on God tier level, as the music is. Guys it's one of the greatest experiences i ever had in theatre. I suggest all of you to going to watch it in cinema in the biggest screen possible. The sound is also incredible. The action is superbe , but this isnt a news, i mean we are talking about Miller one of the greatest filmmakers of all time, and the greatest if we are talking about action movies. George Miller give us one of the greatest story ever told, the screenplay is amazing.the story captivates you so much that when the film ends you feel bad and want to see more. Miller masterfully expands the same universe he created and at the same time enriches Fury Road. you will see Fury Road with completely different eyes after this masterpiece of Furiosa. Im going to see it again in theatre, Miller always delivers and he's back to give us another masterpiece like Fury Road. Furiosa is the movie of the year guys. Go and see it. You won't regret it.
