This is REALLY cool. I never would've even considered this moment being remastered but it definitely deserved it.

This is really amazing. I've always been curious how the fight scenes in earlier seasons would have been if they were animated. Also, I always found this original fight scene a bit weird. But it was understandable, filming these sequences with gameplay is something really difficult to choreograph. And you managed to update this scene using great animation and a good soundtrack. Congratulations.

Just first getting to see this and it feels like there is actual weight like the og RVB animated fights rather than the more recent RVB fights where it feels more floaty. What's even better is that it only took 9 days and looks really good! Congrats on making a strong reanimation!

If you were given the proper budget, time, and manpower, I’m sure you’d create some fights that rival even Oum’s choreographic talents. Bravo.

This deserves to be edited into the season. It may be out of place with only the one scene, but it’s good enough to make up for it. Excellent work.

This is incredible! Love how nimble you made Wash compared to how overwhelming strong Maine is. I can't get over how fluid yet believable Wash's movements are narrowly dodging Maine. Also loved all the tiny details, stuff that you might not catch on first viewing. I initially thought Maine just forced Wash through the fence. Only on a second viewing did I notice the Bruteshot slice open a part for Wash to get pushed through later. Or the Charon industries logo on a shipping container. Really well done, great use of the environment and insanely well choreographed. Loved the callback (or call-forward chronologically?) To Maine using the Bruteshot as a shield like he did in Season 8, makes perfect sense and fits so well here. You both captured the spirit of RvB fights, and the characters. I could go on for so long about what I loved about this, but the main point is: this is astounding, you should be proud, and I can't wait to see what else you make.

Daaaaang this was amazing. Only thing with room for improvement is the sound effects, the punches still need a bit more weight to them, like armor hitting armor instead of meat. Otherwise great job! 9/10 fight, 8/10 overall. Oh also another thing (possibly more difficult) would be adjusting the lighting so that it matches the machinima. The animated environment was very dark so when it switched to the original it felt jarring.

I know this is an older video but great job man! This feels really inspired by Monty Oum's fight animation. The choreography and sound effects are on point. The only think I think what stops it from being perfect is the lack of weight Monty's animation had in each and every impact. Great job!

RT needs to put this into their S6. Of course, it needs a some touch-ups for fluidity and consistency. that said, if I didn't remember RT not animating their fights until season 8 or know that Monty Oum hadn't started animated RT until season 7 or 8(100% in seasons 9 & 10), I would've thought this to be an actual scene. That's how well done this is. they really should hire you for future RvB content, or at least to remaster the earlier seasons. seasons 1-6, specifically. Such as Tex's first ever assault on the reds. that should 100% get animated, and there's also the fights against Omega/O'Malley later on and the fights against Wyoming.

Its a bit clunky but its pretty good regardless plus the fact that it makes wash actually look good as fight wise he doesn’t really shine that much outside of the chorus trilogy honestly

This is a scene that could do with a remaster and you did a really good job here. Makes more sense why the meta doesn't just kill Wash. The original has always been a bit awkward to me. Not just for the lack of animation but just how it's filmed. That does give it a some charm though.

I like this more realistic style of fighting rather than whatever the fuck happened in the whole freelancer saga. You can tell these two are badasses while keeping the combat believable.

If you've seen freelancer fight compilation then you can see that while the remake is a swell idea this clip was a cop out in some spaces being same movements and camera angle/POV taken from other freelancer moments 1: oil platform 2: Meta+Wash vs Tex

A sugggestion. to give the motions more punch you want to drop frames. the human eye is easily tricked and will try to fill in the missing motion itself. This leads to what feels like punchier action moments and movement. Still good
