Agents of Mayhem - Easy Allies Review 

I definitely trust a Bloodworth review.

Picked up the complete edition for 5.99$ on a psn sale. Having a blast playing thus game!

Review ignored that if you can use cores to overlevel your agents up to level 40, which is arguably the better use of the cores.

Seems like a decent game to get on the cheap or be available on PS+/Gold. I can get behind shooting a bunch of enemies with a bunch of different characters. I would love for another single player game like this but more fleshed out.

It's $9.99 on gamestop right now so at that price it's def worth a pick up. I'm having some fun with it.

surprised you didnt mention the lack of co-op in the review since that was a staple of the saints row games.

Beat AoM myself and the game's overall flow structure feels more like an MMO than a action based open-world shooter, that was the issue and the repetition kicked in real fast. I mean it's not a bad game at all, but the way it was designed this game screams CO-OP.

I think Brandon's voice volume needs to be slight increased

A good review, I'm enjoying the game but they're not wrong. The only thing I'd say they are slightly off on is once an agent hits level 20 you need to the cores on a one core per level basis to hit 40. But it never feels necessary to do it. In order to complete the game you don't have to go up to 20. Plus the tutorial tips are super missing, so it's not surprising anyone missed it. Heck, the only reason I knew to look for it was a developer interview I saw before the game came out where they talked about it.

You can use cores to level your character from lvl 20 to lvl 40 so there's a use for them.

Having to constantly recapture bases is kind of a deal breaker for me. I hate doing that in games

Correction: You use Cores to level up your Agents beyond Level 20. But other than that the Review was spot on. The AoM world totally has potential. But repetition has always been a problem of Volition games imo

Hmm I really like borderlands and this kinda reminds e of that? played those single player, so I am still tempted to run through this when its on sale, which I am sure will be very very soon

I'd be willing to bet this started off as a free to play game. Just looking at the design this game reeks of having done a 180 deep in development.

Its a shame they missed the mark on the humor! I always found that was THE hallmark of Volitions games; specifically Saints Row 3/4. In-fact, Saints Row 3 is the shining example of how to consistently hash-out (non-corny) Humor in games. I was in stitches that entire +30 hour play-through. Not a single forced humor. Seriously.... was better than most comedic movies these days. As for AoM! Well... guess i gotta get a current gen console first LOL! But some of the crazy characters have potential (another hallmark in Violations infamous design) Im particularly smitten with Daisy. The lewd roller derby chick, that looks like a mix between Betty Page, a cOOP drawing, withe the bodaciously buff lower body of chun-li..with TATS! Add that sweet mini-gun and count me in! Swimmin in 7s...er 6s!

I just want a next-gen remaster of Saints Row 1 and 2, already.

i swear, one day I will be dreaming about lairs. The repetitive locations irked me a lot since you go to the same place over and over again.

Absolutely hated this game. I wanted to like it,but no...... Hate the graphics. Hate the story. Hate the physics. Its just a bad game. Maybe i would be kinder if it was 2010-2011. But this feels shit in 2017.

Sounds pretty much like any Saints Row game then; they always have pretty weak story progression and dull repetitive bits that are better ignored or skipped past when possible. Pretty bad to hear it creeping into the actual story missions as well though! That said, the whole game feels a lot like a much better rip-off of Crackdown, which aside from the narrator and some fun moments was incredibly bland from start to finish. So on that front I'd say Agents of Mayhem succeeds at being a much better game with a not especially original concept.
