5:51 is a lot of people in the MCU's greatest fear. A normal person like May can train to become a fucking human wrecking machine but in the face of someone who has great powers, the fight is over instantly. One of my favorite moments in Season 2 and the whole MCU as it really shows the gap between powered individuals and nonpowered ones.
@@Carabas72 Yah but its a complete crapshoot. She runs around dodging gunfire and other bullshit but one powered person with the right powers and 100 of her would not be enough. Its unknown and therefore scary. One or two powered people would not even be a real issue but its never just one or two. They pop up everywhere and you NEED to be seriously strong as a normal person to take them on. May basically has the human limits cap. Explosive power in such a small package is just plain unfair.
@@Merilirem This is a superhero universe. Ridiculously well trained people being a superguy's worst nightmare is a very common trope. Superguy's being unknown and scary much less so. When the MCU makes something scary, it tends to be just as scary to powered heroes.
If you guys look up close right before Bobbi breaks out, she'd been slowly pulling the nails out from the table, so the board they're attached to is actually elevated. Then she lets it back down, and right before she grabs him, she uses the momentum from lowering them to pull the boards out.
I don't get how they don't seem to understand that Ward really likes Kara. He's not pining for Daisy anymore, he said that. He's been with Kara ever since she shot him and he's helping her get the closure he feels she needs.
@@biocapsule7311 It's not about that. It's ok to have own opinion about something but it's not ok to miss some episode or not pay the attention and later complain that something doesn't have any sense. That's what is annoying about these two.
I actually said "Yay!" out loud when I saw this in my feed. You four are all fun to watch but, y'know, Rana is the living embodiment of my love for this show. So, yay! Let's go!
Sounds like you don't know what an 084 is. It's an unknown _anything._ Doesn't have to be an object, it can be a person or even a place too. Literally anything where its origin is unknown.
I've said it before AND I'll say it again. Guys, Bobbi Moorse, is Mockingbird. A very highly skilled Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. who has been on equal standing as Black Widow. Now I know you guys LOVE May, but May is NO Romanov. She's not even close. But Mockingbird is at least very close in combat skill to Black Widow.
Ward put up a good fight against Bobbi tho and May is more skilled than him and I know she was tortured but May has to be close to romanoff. Also in season one they said ward had the best combat scores since black widow which technically puts him over Hawkeye in hand to hand and that was a close fight in avengers 1. Not saying May would win but it would be a competitive fight for sure with romanoff winning.
May is _extremely_ skilled. Has taken on powered people and is an extremely strong combatant in any given situation. She doesn't rely on tech or "gadgets" nearly as much as Black Widow does. And from what we've seen I'm confident she would beat someone like Barton in close combat or more confined spaces. As someone else already said: she can handle Ward. And Ward had the highest scores since Black Widow. There's a reason she was originally drafted to be an Avenger before Bahrein happened. And there's a reason she had a personal line to Fury who trusted May with Coulson
Bobbie got out of those restraints by routinely lifting up her arms when no one was around. That caused the bolts going into the wooden table to start to loose. Just before she frees herself you can see that she had the back half of the restraints almost completely loosened when Ward came into the room... granted you all were cringing away from the needles under the fingernails thing, which is completely understandable.
@@Hieillua they do that a lot of beautiful black actresses lol look at Lupita Nyongo, when I heard she was gonna be in star wars and the owner of a castle for rogue crininals I thought she was gonna be a fabulous space pirate, looking sexy and wearing a big hat with a feather or something...they made her into a fucking wrinkled orange Yoda lmfao. Stupid decisions.
I don't think that the decision with killing off Reina had anything to do with her role on Preacher. Reina's arc was just over and that was the best way to close her story, plus Ruth was never part of the main cast so it shouldn't it be that surprising.
8:41 You can see after that Nahid was really affected by that 16:25 Haha!! Rana! Not Ward...! 18:25 Suraj wants to see Mack swing the axe... Poor Coulson... :)
Soooo happry about the double update! And it looks like at least the three are now on board with the show! Honestly, I can't imagine the MCU without it!
Fitz was the best character this season, great actor too. From the photage you saw I didn't see the reason why Ward and Kara were doing the torture to Bobbi, but they are right on the main point about it. They just prefered to do something they shouldn't. Oh one thing that really annoys me in this episode is how they undersell Ward's fighting skill, he and Kara apparently had a though task beating a wounded Bobbi, even though Ward is probably the same level of fighting skills as her. They are both tied for second behind May.
To understand Ward, you have to understand abuse. He is continuing the cycle of abuse he went through with Kara, trying to assert his power over Bobbi, and make Kara committed to him. He is essentially brainwashing her. She is one of the most tragic characters in the show really. She has been brainwashed over and over, just in different ways.
@Brandon Goodman I think that he was projecting onto her what he wished he had in his life. Like Daisy says in season 3 "its not that he doesnt feel anything, its that he feels to much". So I dont really believe that he truly loves her, he just loves the idea of someone loving him, because he really has never had that. Other than when Skye started to love him at the end of season 1, and thats why he was trying so hard to win her trust back in the beginning of this season.
Bobbi got out of her shackles by forcefully raising her forearms when she was alone. They showed her doing that before Ward came back in and there were a few insert shots showing that the screws holding the shackles were lose. One hard yank up and she was free...and whoopin' Ward's ass.
Something i have been thinking about along the lines of your questions "why does Ward even want to do this". Besides all the stuff that the fandom talks about related to sociopath, blaming others for his problems, and being to emotional about stuff. Another thing that comes to mind is that Ward is a soldier, and when he and Kara were on the run, they had the chance to get away forever, they are that good. So i think that he chose to come back into the fight because he is a soldier and can't live any other way. Just my two cents.
I completely understand jiaying point of view of inhumans staying secret but then shield screwed it all up because in season 3 inhumans are feared and killed because of what they are shield think they could walk into this peaceful place that hasn’t been disrupted for centuries and take it could take it over that was all this was shields fault they just wanted to be left alone but they poked the bear
"High budget make-up??" just FYI mickey, Daisey's little 3 second display of powers against May costs more than Raina's make-up. It's not like When they put make-up and prosthetics on someone like Gamora or Drax. All they show of Raina is her face and hands. Sure it's costly, but you do know that they film ALL her scenes close together right?? Just because WE haven't seen her in a long time it doesn't mean she's had the days off. They Film All her scenes where she needs make-up then they chop them up and put them into different episodes. You do know this right??
yeah i feel like jiaying's more like rogue than wolverine and i'm feeling like suraj's the only one that can look at ward torturing bobbi like that because he seen sayid do it to sawyer-several times most likely
Shield had no right to try and control them. When you are dealing with an alien group or inhumans that are more technically advanced then you, you don't get to call the shots. Shield has shown what they do when they index people. You just can't do it when these people can destroy you.
Maybe you can index but also treat them properly. E.g. fire guy from S1 felt Shield was too controlling, amd wss happy for freedom and joined centipede
The 2 Part Finale in on, we're a full season away from S4 though Save our Souls is kinda appropriate Jaiying was crazy, well...nah she felt threatened by the thought of someone walking in on the paradise she built, it's about control I dunno guys, if Colin Firth can do it in Kingsman why not? He has drank his Mr Hyde juice You don't gain powers from sleeping with an Inhuman Well...maybe not everything, but May's not gonna want to hurt Daisy anymore than she has to. I don't get why Daisy doesn't let May see Gonzalez, Gonzalez is one of their people and she said 'take your people and leave', contradiction much? Fitz finishing Hunter's sentences is a good showing of how Fitz's mind is getting back on the ball, he's not lagging back as much anymore That's not what a succubus is...but she does drain lifeforce Ward Knows Torture...Squeamish Torture And right in front of Daisy, Raina is killed by her mother, proving Raina right. It's a sad death really, Raina wanted to be special, and she died in the shadows with many unaware of how much she tried to help She was loosening the screws on the straps You can't be an ex-husband of Hawkeye in the comics without kicking ass, but also never lend her money With the Hyde serum, Kyle Maclachlan gives no fucks 'I think Ward's outran his use in the show' uhhhhhh..... Speaking of Nightcrawler, this Inhuman is fem!Multiple Man Not yet...but we're getting there the Inhuman gene can belong to anyone, but it has to be hereditary, it doesn't skip generations, you have to have a parent with the gene to be compatible Onto Part 2
The married couple is Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen, the writers of the show. Kevin Tancharoen is Maurissa's brother. And Jed Whedon is Joss Whedon's brother. Yep, Joss Whedon from the Avengers. Is all in the family hahahaha
The metal under the nails torture always gets me. That's the horrible torture Vietnam P.O.W.'s experience except instead of metal, bamboo was inserted under the finger nails.
I think they only kept ward around so long because he was just so gd interesting to watch they DID make him a bit of the unpredictable wildcard, there to fuck with the group
Bobbie deserve it all, she had no retreat about what happened to agent 33, bobbie the sociopath deserved worse.....agent 33 was tortured forever, turned to a slave and finally deprogrammed by ward.....how many "love" mission did hydra send agent 33 on when they controlled her?`eeeww
Come on now... the budget for make-up is not even close to the budget for CGI/Special Effects. They didn't kill Raina because of budget, they killed her because her story arc was finished.
They show several times bobby working the bolts loose, then she rips them the final way to get out. Normies reaction "how did she do that?" do you pay any attention to what you watch?
What always bugged me is that Skye attacks an Agent who literally just shot someone. Skye is justified in defending herself. And May treats the two bodies on the ground like they don't exist... They are red shirts after all. The show has a problem with this. Season 1 finale has the cheeky Coulson scene at the end, he literally walks by a couple of dead scientists.
Hello guys. Stop laying Jaiying. So. Mack is staying then? Ward back to his Hydra ways and tortures Bobbi. Palamas, Agent 33, shouldn't go around wearing May's face. Skye should talk more in detail with Raina. It make sense Cal is also helping make Shield look like the bad guys. And Gordon.
BTS: in the bobbi v ward fight the stunt doubles were husband and wife. the wife who is also the multiplication girl... but yeah, wildcard ward best ward lol
