It was unfortunate. The endgame after trading the queens is a draw, but Arjun went wrong at 08:55 and played Rc5 instead of Rd1. Later he played the inaccurate Rg1 twice and the 2nd time white made the correct move. He spent too much time but did still not play accutate. However, it is certainly not an easy task to find the right moves in these positions under time pressure.

I played the French for a while. Good defense and complex, but I did not like the fact that I got attacked on my king position so much, and as Magnus Carlson said about many variations of the French, white seems to have all the fun, particularly if they are aggressive and go after the king.
