Honestly I'm impressed with his progress, and I have a almost one year healer my brother brought home. He has been with my mom and I a majority of his time. My brother travels for work. So first he started his aggressive bark and snaps at one small child og the three that were always around us. He would play with their puppy, the same age off leash. They would stay in the yard and listen. Their intelligent dogs. But he slowly got worse with aggressive behavior. He's bite a female Friend of ours, has always had a problem with our adult male neighbor, and now he has bite my mom. When she tried to roll him over. We were from what im seeing. Ill advice to roll him over when he is acting such a manner. To stop the behavior its not working what are your suggestions!?
I'm really enjoying this series... We just adopted a Blue Heeler last night from someone who I think didn't do their research on this breed. I've had dogs in the past, but this is my first Heeler and I'm thinking this is going to be a fun challenge. Any tips? Also, would you be willing to post videos of the actual training sessions? I've done quite a bit of research with training and found some guides, but pictures are worth a thousand words, so videos must be even more so, right? Thanks.

Need help really bad with my almost year old heeler. Lately hes been very aggressive towards other people coming in my house and bit my daughter. How do I get him trained to not do that please send back with any kind of tips. My brother has him now I don't feel comfortable with him around my daughter until I can trust him not to lash out and be aggressive towards people and especially my kid. Hes been such a great dog to me and my wife. But his agression has been building up and I have no clue as to why. Would getting home fixed help with it? What is the e collar is it a shock collar where you shock him to get his attention? Please respond
Hunter Grady getting him fixed will do nothing. This dog is neutered. I would start of with having your daughter toss some of his favorite treats to him, not directly in his face but from a few feet away. Get him thinking that your daughter means something really good is going to happen. Next I would muzzle him and have her join you on walks. When the dog seems comfortable I would start handing her the leash randomly for short spurts of of time, alternating frequently between you and her. Once she can walk him calmly with you right there, you could remove the muzzle. I would also have her giving him a high reward treat whike you're walking. This is the first step. After that, let me know and I can go into further details.
