I was traveling and went to another gym once. When going for a triangle from bottom of side control the guy said he was afraid I was trying to bicep slicer him. Once I got back home I asked my instructor how I could have done that and we couldn't figure it out. I'm going to try this and see if it does the trick.

Thank you for your videos. I spar with much larger guys in my class and I end up on the bottom a lot. Your videos helped me to be more aggressive on the bottom.

Tony N I'm very happy to hear that, I've hit the bottom side Americana against big dudes because the leverage takes away the strength ... Keep it up 🤙🏻

Cool technique. You should slow it down a bit and emphasize certain details more like the arm position over your shin. It was hard to keep up with you to be honest, but I’m a dumbass. Most people are dumbasses, so it would be good to dial it back a bit; just slow down son. No more energy drinks bro.

I like this a lot but am having trouble getting it tight enough for a tap, the opponent's often able to just pull their arm out. Any idea how to make it tighter?

Kim yeah you have to really stretch out their arm, don’t focus on bringing the hand to the chest focus on getting his elbow far far away from you

Ah ok I'll try that thanks. Love your channel and I'm not the only one at our gym (in Finland). Keep it up!

Also, try using an RNC grip on the arm that you are attacking and you can even step on your own ankle. I’ve seen this result in 2 arm breaks (at the forearm) so be careful.. but will definitely result in more pressure and get the arm further away as lent mentioned. I didn’t this exact technique at the black belt level but my opponent eventually was able to stack me and apply heavy shoulder pressure and pass which led me down a rabbit hole of improving the technique. I hope this helps Kim 🙏🏼

Thoughts on this in gi from leg lasso and using same detail of backstopping them from pulling the arm out using calf of secondary leg? Also in the case of lasso entry to this technique it would be the other leg threading.. any thought on if or how this would impact the outcome. Thank you

Would this apply to someone trying to put the front side cradle on? I have a wrestler I go against often and they will scoop my topside leg and weave it in. I’ll try today and see what I can do but if you have pointers, please and thank you!
