Irwan Sumarto Thanks man! Haha it's funny you said that because if you check out the newer videos on my channel, the car is black and gold now! Plus I have gold wheels
Loving your videos JMedia. I just got a 2014 Lancer SE Black and been looking into the carbon fiber hood & trunk. Plus looking into the shark fin and rear diffuser. I have seen this diffuser on CarID but I am wondering if there is another brand out there? I don't think this diffuser is that effect and more for show than functionality. What about taking the rear bumper off a Raliart or Evo that has the diffuser built-in already?
Silver Troy Thanks man I appreciate it! Yea I bought mine off carid. Yup you are right! I've seen people fit the ralliart or Evo x rear bumper on the lancers
good job bro it looks really nice. I have a mitsubishi lancer 2004 es btw ik it's old but I love it man I don't wanna get rid of it. it's my first car btw I got it used 5 years ago.
Hey Justin, love your Lancer videos. Question tho, I too have a 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer GT and I also have the duraflex rear diffuser but I was wondering if you use double sided tape on the middle section of the diffuser? I know you put two screws on both ends of the diffuser but I couldn't heard on what you said towards the end of the video on what you did about the middle sectionof the diffuser. Thanks, Dashie/Joshua
Thank you I appreciate it! Yea to be honest fitment on duraflex parts are not good. The gap between bumper and diffuser was pretty big so I had to use black rubber caulk (restroom/tile caulk that you can buy from home depot) to seal up the gap all around.
Mark Anthony Rivera Thank you! You can buy it from carid.com and it is called the Duraflex Power M Rear Diffuser. I forgot the exact price but it is a few hundred dollars
BORNTOHATE rg Nice man! Yea I still have a couple more mods to do and then I'll do a walk around video! Check out my cinematic car feature that I made of the Lancer GT on my channel that I made!
The J Media your welcome, I had some wild thoughts for the future like putting on varis wide body kit with victory function front fenders but I'm assuming that may not be possible and also upgrade the engine as to not give that rice feel but by the looks of it it might as well be just and only a dream that cannot be done...any ways you'll probably be seeing me comment from time to time and watching your videos on your GT
BORNTOHATE rg Yea that would be a huge project! I personally love the victory function over fenders too. Sure thing man, big plans coming up for my Lancer GT this year!
Very cool bro! your rear looks waaaaay better now. I know this is off topic from the video but I actually sent you a message on your channel. I have some questions on your friend who owns the white 370z. Just wanna make sure you got my message
Dren Tooth Thanks man, I agree it looks better! I didn't receive it. You can just ask me here or if you wanna ask it privately, you can send me a dm on the channel's instagram page @thejmedia
I don't have IG page bro lol but here's my actual message. I just want to ask the White 370z owner on where did he get the AMUSE REAR spoiler from? How much was it? how long is the shipping? and How hard to install it? I just don't want to buy the cheap knockoff Amuse spoiler online so it would be best to ask him where exactly he got it from. If so, can you give me the link of website for the spoiler? I'm planning to install the same rear spoiler on my 370z for a big car meet in my state. I love all your car videos man, keep it coming and I'll be waiting for your reply for that spoiler. Thanks
Dren Tooth Marco bought it online from www.vividracing.com/catalog/-p-150742839.html?FullFeed&gclid=CPn49_K8utECFY-6wAodecoORg. It's about $600 and shipping took maybe 1 or 2 weeks. As for the installation, he had to get it painted to color match so he sent it to a body shop to paint and install it at the same time. That cost almost another $600. If you're looking at getting it, check out my older video "painting the 370z" and it shows the whole process of us painting the wing
The J Media thanks man, you run an amazing channel and you do a mighty fine job on replying to all your comments which makes it even more amazing so I wish you the best and hope everything goes well for you.
Jeriko Rilloraza I actually went to Home Depot to buy a black rubber caulk that they sell for the bathrooms. I used that to seal the gap. Lowes sell it too
Hola amigo, una consulta, de casualidad ese difusor lo podre encontrar en ebay o aliexpress?, bonito lancer, yo igual tengo uno negro, saludos desde chile :D
The J Media I actually just tried to fit it on myself i had a shop try to fit it with my other parts, it fits the sides well, under it there’s a gap like towards the inside of the car, does yours do that too? It looks pretty good to me so idk what the body shop is saying
_hectahh jjj Yea I do have a couple of older videos with fly by exhaust clips and revving! I'll be sure to make rolling shots with exhaust fly bys in the future!
What wheels are those? Nice mods. Did you see any enhancement from having both top & bottom defusers? I wanted to do this with my 2014 but I didn't like the idea of just 3m tape holding on something designed to catch & redirect air. Is the roof defuser from the same maker & did you tape it? Sick ride!
Chem istry Thanks man! These are ESR wheels! I wanted the rear to look more aggressive and these mods definitely made the plain lancer rear nicer in my opinion! The top one is a carbon fiber voltex generator and the rear diffuser is a Power M rear diffuser made by Duraflex. Yea, the voltex generator is held on by 3m tape but I removed it and added the strongest industry grade double sided tape I could find at home depot and its stuck firmly on my roof!
The J Media Thanks for the response. It looks great. Its very similar to the ideas I had for mine & wondered how they worked out for others. Ive been told great things with the vortex generators from mpg over time to a smoother ride. My concerns were using just tape for that & my duckbill spoiler but if it holds well enough for others it should be perfect for me. Sadly Ive got the SE model which you cant to much at all to & I baby it due to its history. Doubt it will ever see high rpm or speeds above 85...so its low, slow & neckbreaker for mine. Did you swap out your tire pressure sensors or eliminate the light from your dash? Keep posting up the good stuff
Hey J Media, love the diffuser! I have been looking at the same diffuser for my lancer but am struggling to find one for a decent price. Where did you purchase the diffuser from?
