I’m very surprised to see the car community not being toxic and making fun of you for not just getting the evo or a v8. I like it man. Never seen so much love on someone’s car video in a while.
@@matthewiribarren556 Wow you're not even close. People selling their evos on FB groups left and right lately. But nowhere are they asking or getting $40-50k for them unless its an FE, mostly if not completely stock, and in immaculate condition. $40-50k is the extreme high end and not common. $16-25 is the average..above $30k for low miles and super clean.
As a evo x owner I think you did a great job making it look like an evo. My opinion is mixed tho you did a good job making it look like an evo, but on the other hand I think it would have been overall wise to get a real evo and start of on a easy platform to make power and make it look more aggressive than it already is.
Great work man. There´s always something you can improve and I´m pretty sure there are some comments about it, but I really respect the grind, the effort, the patience, and the passion you put into your car. Nice work !!
Respect, the best thing about this is that you own the fact it's not an Evo X but a Lancer you built yourself. Too many posers nowadays acting like their Lancer is an Evo X and even calling it one themselves and telling others that it is one. You have my respect. Great Build!
you should see malaysia lancer modification. In malaysia we got inspira and lancer which is inspira is a rebadge from lancer and also we got lancer. most conversion they will change the gas cap. its insane.
It's amazing how you've changed your Lancer! I've been working on mines just putting some aftermarket stuff, it's the ES too, but the 2009, and it has been a long way because parts are very expensive ! Hope to get mines just like yours someday. And again congratulations, it looks BEAUTIFUL! Outstanding work!
To anyone who needs to know this information I was looking up these front and rear bumper conversions and if you go to a junkyard and rip those little plastic clips off of a real evo you can get them for really cheap and just install them on the Lancer so that you get a better fit and finish without as much body molding
i have a lancer GTS and im about to order tha varis v2 bumper are these the clips your talking about i havnt looked in back my bumper yet to know haha, i was about watch another video to how custom fit the bumper www.amazon.com/Rexka-Fender-Mitsubishi-MR200300-Outlander/dp/B07H8831TH/ref=asc_df_B07H8831TH/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=366338088421&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=5533816776751723605&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9033304&hvtargid=pla-787385227082&psc=1&tag=&ref=&adgrpid=79954179487&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvadid=366338088421&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=5533816776751723605&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9033304&hvtargid=pla-787385227082
I know people are going to come here. Saying a Ralliart may have been a better base. However, I'm glad that you built something with your brother that makes you happy.
Yo, I was gonna ask for a parts list. This Vids at 1400 likes and I'm dying for the parts list, also, what was the total cost for this? I have a 2010 ES so I'm dying to do this and would need to start saving ASAP. Regards, J.
I just got a 2017 lancer , I’m new to the community and haven’t had the chance to make too many changes to mine but this video is definitely some inspiration for what I can do in the future, overall awesome looking car, amazing job
3:44 🤣🤣🤣 that was hilarious...anyway, very nice ride man. I got a 08 Lancer, and have also turned a bit evo style. The best thing is the EVO wing, that looks so great on the Lancer. Great to see other people with the same passion for the Lancer.
@@chiderauzo1654 Aliexpress is where i bought all the parts. Taillights, coilovers, spoiler, very good quality. Only thing different from the original spoiler is that the one i have is 1 part, the original one comes in 3 parts i believe. The foots of the spoiler are then separated from the wing itself. Mine came painted in exactly the black color of the car, and fits like a glove, absolutely perfect, and for 170 euros. I dont know if the bumper fr the EVO is fitting on a normal Lancer. In fact the base of the car is the same, ao shouldnt be that much of a problem i guess.
might be buying a lancer soon so ive been watching videos, and this one specifically has got to be my fav. love how it turned out, love seeing the progress too. Also gotta say im glad you unwrapped the hood lol
First of all great job, the car looks awesome. I love the color as well as the fact that you tried to go as OEM as possible. My idea has always been a bit different, if I ever decide to do that I'd straight go for an actual evo widebody kit, they don't go for too much over what you have into the oem parts and are a one shot job overall. Of course it's always going to be better to go for an evo, but there are many reasons not to, so to each their own I guess. Damn it looks good though
That's really great when people are making beautiful things like this one with their cars. You are doing a great job. Very good car. Mb it lacks some cool side skirts.
Oh wow. I just realized I watched your video of the muffler delete to see if deleting mine would sound good. Went through with it and it sounds great. Thanks a ton!
The ride looks amazing man! How did you get the OEM parts to fit? I want to mod my '16 SEL out to look like an Evo but from everything I've read Evo parts won't fit on the standard model Lancers.
Who is that at 1:46? Is that your cousin? Anyways SHEEEEEEESH from baby silver bullet to the wasp 😍🔥 hours and hours and hours of hard work pay off. Amazing work brother ❤️
Lol this kid didn't do shit but swap some body panels and call it an Evo. He was never gonna make it better than a lancer..just a poser doing poser things.
@Darth Doge hardly obsessed, and it's been a good bit since my last post. Just because I have something to say and I'm wordy doesn't mean obsessive interest. It's all talk, end of the day though posing is posing. An Evo is not just its body panels. Nothing left to say.
@@roguetune03 let him do the fun, some people might love to build something instead of bought. You know in some country, evos are extremely rare (not in this guy case), people do this kind of conversion and surprisingly, far respected than real evo users
All these people saying you shouldve just bought an evo man i believe you did a beautiful build man most people probably dont have evo money to start with doesnt mean people should hate when the build their lancer i have a wicked white 15’ evox almost stock not to be bragging but i still love how you made it look so clean big props my dude its 🔥🔥👌👌
Damn, i wish this video came out 2 months ago. I just totaled my 2014 Mitsubishi Lancer ES. this is exactly what I was going for and I was getting close.
How I can tell it’s an Evo from just glancing is the front bumper and the vents on the fenders which you don’t have so someone could tell right away that it isn’t an Evo so I would recommend getting them since it’s also a good way to cool the brakes and it looks good too
Love from Australia bro ! Looking at doing the same with my 2012 Lancer. Already for tail lights and the spoiler but still got a lot more work needed. Love to see the progress man
@@mushu_mazda8977 You have to be joking.. These guys could mod the body panels on 10 Lancers and not come away with the fun I had my first weekend out on the street with my own Evo. Gonna be hard to stay impressed as soon as it does more than sit there.
A transformação ficou otima, a unica coisa que realmente mostra que o Lancer não é Evo X, é a tampa do combustível redonda, sendo que no Evo X ela é quadrada.
*If you don't want to add the turbo because you gotta T OFF on the oil feed, you could supercharge it by using the belt to drive it and use an intercooler kit a days work and ofc a tune*
im really impressed by the dedication and passion you put into it. could you have gone for an Evo X instead? maybe, but who am i to say that - your build is your build and its your money. toxic petrolheads will keep gunning you but in reality, if your car and what you do to it makes you happy, i dont see anything wrong. keep it up!
@@EVAN-re2yo not a stupid question bro just wondering cuz you probably spent just as much money making that lancer look like an evo x as a the price of a real evo x
In my country, there’s lots of shop that can do evo x conversion, they even change the rear fenders, gas cap, the roof & from rwd to awd (using evox awd or ralliart awd)
I respect it, when you get to be an adult sometimes zooming around isn’t as important and bills and family. It’s not a fake evo,,,,, it’s a sexy lancer
I think "fake evos" get a bit of shit because 99% of the time it's some kid that bought a lancer, slapped a big old exhaust and body kit that doesn't fit properly on there, and called it a day. You're the 1% that made something awesome man, nice work.
@@doodoobutter4406 Because you're copying another car that already exist. There's no creativity to doing this, there's no uniqueness, it just looks like someone that really really like the Evo X but couldn't afford it.
@@doodoobutter4406 yea because lancers are known for their big engine right? Let me help you with that joke you tried to make.. "Your ego is clearly bigger than your lancer's turbo." Someone educated like you should know that to get the most out of the lancers you need to put a bigger turbo. Big turbo, big ego, now your joke works. You'll be able to use it next time.
