We have 17 valtras and valmets best tractor the only one worth buying. The tractor in our yard with the most hours has 22,000 still frontline contracting. We bought it new in 1994 and it has only broken down once which wasn't even a bad break.A few of the new ones have given a bit off trouble still a fantastic brand haven't really let us down otherwise.
weve had them for twenty odd years too, best agri contracting tractor on the market, cheapest to run into high hours with lower runnin costs, they're built tough too
We have a Valtra M130 quite a rare Valtra, at least I haven't seen so many. We had that for about 5-7 years now and has about 8000 hours on it. The stick to the loader is starting to get a little old but nothing massive. A great tractor in my eyes. Love to bits
I would buy a Valtra as first choice as i have looked at hundreds of tractors and worked on different models, when I viewed the tractor at rural events I have been very impressed with build quality.
I did an internship at a cauliflower grower many years ago. He had a 6400 with more than 20000 hours on it. He's still using it to this day. Might be getting close to 30000 hours!
7000 hours and new breaks that’s good but it all depends on who’s the pilot on it you get some kid on one leading grass you would need brakes a lot before 7k
Nonsense. The N series are phenomenal. We have an N101. 12 years Old, 9,000 hours and have spent zero on repairs. Other valtras here have put up 15,000 hours with no repairs. There is nothing to touch them for reliability and low running costs. Misers on fuel too.
John Claffey. After having a mf and a jd ( which both broke down ) We got a 6300 anda volvo bm 500 That combo ran for many years, we traded the 6300 in for a 6650 and then the 500 in for a 8350 and all of these tractors mentioned ran to 10000hours without one major problem. We still have the 6650, and it's clocking in at 12000 hours now. It has some brake problems but with a little time in the workshop it's just like new, so the 6000&8000 series of valtra are quality all the way through :) Currently we have a 6100,6650 and a N122 The N-series currently has 7000 hours, and it yet has not had a breakdown.
Deere are very good tractors but so are Valtra as a good all rounder Valtra are hard to beat brilliant steering lock fantastic reliability comfortable, if your looking a tractor that’s pretty compact for day to day use but you can also put a set of triple mowers on no problem the 254 is hard to beat sure look at the size and weight of an equivalent Deere that’s around 270hp, if you live near a good Valtra dealer they’d be hard to look past
@@Alexr-uf3zn yup I love valtras are good aswell. I think they have the best cabs but I think they are really expensive. Not sure about reliability either haven't heard much about them giving trouble except for a few cases.
