Yup and it's sad. It's sadder for me since my best friend went into the wrong path and i told her why she said she wants to and she started acting differently with me. She became more distant to me. Then 2 days ago she said it's better if we aren't friends which made me sad since i loved her a lot. Even more than myself i asked why she said "we fight a lot" she didn't think twice about saying that. Did she not think about why i was trying to hold her back? Probably not. She's a person who would be lonely and she wanted new friends but she didn't know how which she only had me. I stayed by her side no matter what and now she says that it's better if we aren't friends which hurts. I kinda tried to get over it but i didn't really succeed. Hopefully she doesn't see that comment since she's an army lmao.

Ik when i heard Kim Jong Wan singing i had already teared up, but that made me burst out crying. And i NEVER cry listening to songs. Esp 3:59, every time that part played i would start crying more..... it's so heartfelt and it makes my heart ache. I wanna let Suga know how grateful I'am that he felt safe enough around us to share such a personal chapter of his life..... And reading these comments just....... I have no words for how this song speaks to ppl in these situations on different levels..... My favorite track on the album by far

I've had my best friend go toxic and its rlly harder than you think esp because I spent 3 years being her friend and at the last year she starts gossiping abt me talking to my other friends. You are an introvert, the definition of introvert is someone who avoids conversation and socializing, and one who likes being by themselves . Yoongi doesnt seem completely like an introvert . In fact he likes conversation just that he likes his personal space, dont confuse that with wanting to be alone. Online friends arent real friends, he craves ppl (other than the members) whom he can have a decent conversation with and just goof around with , he wants a friend and yet ppl are confusing this with being an introvert. I personally feel this song is in a way connected to the previous mixtapes song ' the last' and the song with iu 'eight' because in all three (I'm not sure if there are more)he mentions friendship and in both it seems like hes scared to make another friend whom he trusts so much because hes scared of losing them. He'd rather be lonely than grow to be lonely and this is so prominent esp because in iu song eight he talks about being on an island(and a song with someone who says if this is how love is I dont want to love anymore , I'll just revisit the memories which I have). Maybe that's why he wanted to collab with iu , otherwise why would he collab with someone who wrote a song very very personal and meaningful to her .

He's probably been so busy that he can barely spend any time with his closest friends and so they're drifting apart which is why he said that he has no friends at this point. I can't imagine how much it hurts him. Also, even if your situation was similar, you are completely different people. He could feel very different in certain situations in comparison to you and it's kinda weird that you even compared your situation to his in the first place. I don't understand why you would say "it isn't as bad as you think" when you clearly don't know how Yoongi feels at all

And the saddest thing is not just that he realized that he's friend changed but that he's friend didn't even considered him a friend anymore...that has happened to me quite a few times and it freaking hurts A LOT.

Reading that to mean that his friend knew the destruction that would come into the life of the friend to whom he offered. Reads like, after the trips to visit his friend in the detention center, supporting his friend through the trial and the release from prison ... then that offer from his friend to follow the same terrible path. And that was the breaking moment. He knew his friend wasn't who he thought he was, at all. And the drug-using friend is now asking "Are we still friends, or what?" Well ... missing those old memories is all that is left. Had a friend myself that I finally realized 'this person was just pretending, they are not the person that I thought they were'. I really miss the old version of that friend, but it is just a memory, that isn't who the ex-friend really is.

The first mixtape was a cultural shock in Korea. No one really talk about depression , anxiety , su**ide etc that raw. He is one of the most relatable artists and the only one who is very raw with his emotions. It takes a lot of courage and pain to let this out for the world. To let the world see your scars when you as an idol are deemed to be PERFECT. He is the idol , a human whom we all can relate to regardless gender , age , culture , society etc. Min yoongi is much more beautiful at heart.
