actually seen this boat (bright star) on a tv show the owner is a really young looking wine vineyard owner in California .. i know i dident think there was that much money in wine either. this boat used to only be 100 feet he did a major refit and had the boat lengthened another 40. had the heli pad put on and 8.5 mill in other upgrades. owner also flew helicopters i believe that very well could be him taking off right there. that show is on youtube its where i saw it ( yacht somthing) lol
That’s the son you’re referring to. He’s the heir to the Howard Leight fortune. His farther founded it and eventually sold it to Honeywell for a “nice sum”. Nice guy, you wouldn’t know he had money
I'm sure all the other sailors in the marina love to hear jet noise and rotor blades for 8 minutes while Captain Checklist takes his time figuring out what to do and when to do it. Startup and takeoff undoubtedly took longer than the flight.
It's amazing Yes i make a good living as a Scientist but i see these videos and think of are Homeless in America. Do some of us need to have so much money?
Sorry, fell asleep at 5:17 what happens in the end ? Is there a crash ? Is it a fireball crash ! Cause a fireball crash off a Yacht would be so cool, I would watch that !
The irony is that pilot probably gets paid a salary of $90K to sit on that boat year round, and probably logs less than 100 hours of flight time per year. A boring but well-paid life.
+Jay Smith How many hours have you got on A109s then chap? Do enlighten us of how you get this heli up in 2 mins. Please bear in mind that this is not FSX.
This isn't billionaire life bro, this is about 100-million-dollar-man-life. Also that yacht belongs to the people who own the Roaky Oaks Estate and is used to transport people to the estate, chances are there were just two very average people in that helicopter. (Well a bit above average I guess)
Must be nice to have enough money to buy a ship and a helicopter. Unfortunately, unless you win the money in a lottery or inherit it, you have to work long hours to be able to buy something like that shown in the video. Working long hours means you have limited time to play with your toys that your money from all your hard work purchased. Reminds me of the story about the local fisherman on a small island and the wealthy tourist to comes to visit the island to fish.
Both yacht and helicopter is owned by Howard Leight.....who made his money from hearing protection! Wonder if he gives his 'neighbours' free hearing protection? He crashed his helicopter upside down in the water and survived.....but hey....no problem.....just go and buy another!
Civillian trained pilot. Takes 8 mins to take off despite the aircraft idling at lift ability for 5 mins. Air traffic not an issue, just him making sure his i's were dotted and t's were crossed. Glad i'm not on board. Fucking amateur.
actually, replying to myself after reading the comments, this guy crashed a chopper in the drink apparently so yeah, hope i'm never walking under the fucking idiots flightpath. Jesus, buy a skateboard Howard,'cos you look waaaaayyy too clumsy to be flying helicopters.!!!!
