Love your honest reviews man! I just wish you would ride in it before reviewing this one like you do the others. Nothing beats agv on how quiet the visor is when opening and closing!

I purchased two of these helmets (now sent back to AGV) and they both came faulty. The first came with paint defects, the clear coat was missing in blotches over parts of the helmet. The second time I ordered one of these, it came with a large scratch on the side that went as deep as exposing the fibers. Found out these things are made in China as opposed to Italy. Seems like AGV is having QC issues with these and its such a shame, these helmets are amazing. Have you noticed anything like this Bryan?
Pista GP RR and Corsa R are made in Italy and they are beautiful to be honest, the others are all made in China though. Well done for returning them, I had to send back a K3 few months back, just appalling.
You guys just saved me the cost of a New Helmet, that I would have HAD TO of Returned! I Really Try to Minimize Any product that comes from China, especially when it comes to My Safety. Thank You for the info.
I'm a Scorpion guy, usually a 2xl (probably due to price and quality, but not a perfect fit. Always have had drop down visors and noticed I always have a little pressure on my forehead). The new EXO-R1 didn't fit right, the carbon fiber ST1400 didn't fit (both 2xls). I tried the Arai Regent X in XL and it is a perfect fit with what feels like a more plush interior than the Signet IMO. I also just tried the AGV K6 and was amazed that the 2XL was too big, but felt like it would fit great, so I'm trying a XL next or just biting the bullet and spending Arai money. It sucks the Scorpions don't fit as I just can't stand spending so much for to find a helmet that fits right and isn't plastic.
Love your review/s, and fan of the lid. Completely agree tho and hope agv bring out a new line of graphics soon, these are just a bit boring imo! Is there anything else close to / similar as anyone recommends?
Shopping for my street helmet. This or Shoei Rf 1400? Almost a pound difference in medium based on your test. That’s huge at the end of a 10 hour day. But Shoei will have transition. I know Agv is coming out with better graphics for ‘21.
Personally I never notice the weight while riding as long as the helmet has good aerodynamics and is balanced which the Shoei is both. To be fair they are both good helmets, personally I would lean in the direction of the Shoei as I believe the overall quality to be a bit higher. - Van

IMO the level of safety between the two models will be very similar. If I had to lean in either direction considering the safety I would lean slightly towards the AGV. Not a massive difference IMO. - Van
I noticed that the eps is broken. It has made in china on the tag. You stated that the switch is chintzy. Would you say that the build quality of the Scorpion R1 is better or about the same as this K6? No wrong answer to the question. Whichever I purchase will come from you guys.
If I am choosing between the K6 and the EXO-R1 Air I am going with the R1 Air. IMO the quality is as good or better in some areas. Protection is a push as they are both ECE. The R1 Air is also priced a little better. Sorry for the slow response, we have been racing on the West Coast. - Van

I had a K3 before as my first helmet. I’m a small guy and hated the bobble head look it gave me. Felt heavy and bulky. I’ve now got an NXR and an RPHA-11. How does the K6 compare?
Lol I have the exact same story, had a K3-SV as my first helmet and I have a big head. XL for the matter, so it did make my head look like a bobble head. I have switched to a HJC Rpha-11 recently and it has been a significant improvement. Way lighter, more aerodynamic and by the looks of it, so much smaller compared to the K3.
The K6 is much smaller than the K3 is. I would say it is close to the RPHA 11, perhaps just a touch smaller. Weight is very similar to the RPHA, .3 lbs lighter. - Van
The Arai Signet X has a completely different internal shape (long oval) and is designed for riders who have a hard time finding a good fit from the intermediate oval shape most of the helmets are built to. Now to be fair these are both excellent helmets. If you have a long oval head shape go for the Signet X. If you are intermediate oval the Bell Race Star Flex is a great helmet. I really like the Flex liner system and the self tinting ProTint shield that comes with it. - Van
I've been doing days of research and what it's come down to is the Shoei Rf 1200, Arai Regent X, AGV K6. I don't know what i should pull the trigger on.
They are all good helmets. If I am picking from these 3 I would go with the Shoei. It has the best overall quality of the group and preforms well while riding. The Regent-X is a nice helmet but you can see where Arai adjusted to meet the price point with the fixed liner. - Van
I wouldnt recommend the R1. Bought it, been having several different issues with it, having to return it soon. Probably buying the k6 soon because of how disappointed I've been with scorpions quality.
I’m in the market for a new helmet. The helmet need to be dual purpose. I do A LOT of street riding but I’m also getting into track riding this year (as long as the apocalypse ends). The helmet needs to be able to mount a Cardo to it. My price range is $500-$750. Which helmet should I give a try? Also Shoei and Arai don’t fit my good.
I like the new Scoprion EXO-R1 Air a lot. IMO it is one of the best values out there right now. It will be great on the street and the track. No problem installing the Cardo either. - Van
Hi, trying to decide between this K6 and the rpha 11 pro for an all around helmet, what is your honest opinion about safety fitting shell size quality, I am 57.7 cm head, thanks
I think both helmets are good options that have the ability to protect the rider in the event of a crash. In order for your helmet to do its job it has to fit properly. At 57.7 a medium in the RPHA and a medium small in the K6 would be the sizes I would suggest. If I had to judge these helmets on quality I would give the K6 a slight edge. Hope this helps - Van
I'm having trouble deciding. The Scorpion EXO-R1 Air seems like a better value for the money, but if I can get the K6 discounted, would it be worth it? Also, if I'm spending low to mid 400's, would I be better off just jumping up to the rf1400? None of them will ever see track usage.
I really like the Scorpion EXO-R1 Air Helmet a lot. We have sold a ton and riders have been really happy with this helmet. I have ridden in it and also really like the helmet. - Van
Hey Van. What do you think about the quality and safety between the K6 and the RPHA 11? At the price point, the RPHA includes a dark visor at Europe. The agv cost 80 euro.
I have ridden in the RPHA 11 many times and feel safe in the helmet. That said I would ride in the K6 as well if the opportunity comes up, IMO it is also a good helmet. - Van
IMO they are both excellent helmets and will deliver a good experience on a naked upright bike. Go with the one you prefer the looks of and enjoy the ride. - Van
To be fair they are both excellent helmets. My biggest issue with the K6 is the lack of good looking graphics. Where fit is concerned the Bell Star MIPS does run just a touch narrow side to side which can be a problem for some riders. - Van
For sure this could be an everyday use helmet, more so than the Corsa R IMO. When I look at the Corsa R and Pista R I see very track focused helmets. If you want to use them on the street certainly you can do that. - Van
I know this doesn't relate to this video but how do you fell about the Five RXF4 glove? I am super interested in it, but i cant seem to find many reviews online.
The interior shape of this helmet is intermediate oval. That said there is still a chance you could get a good fit. The only way to know is to try one on. - Van
