I’ve got an AGV Corsa R and I’ve had no issues with mounting my cardo headset to it. So for those watching you should be able to use one with no issues.
@@Bikeadelic No it doesn't have cut outs but theres also no padding where your ears are. Those two little cloth things he pulled out are for the empty space between the top liner and yoke/cheek pads.
@@christianstewart62 almost all helmets have either removable padding or recessed padding there. I have a snug fitting shoei spirit 3 which has cut outs. The jbl speakers just barely fit and i have to use mu fingers to push my ears up when i put it on or they get folded down. I think anyone who's got a cardo installed on a corsa R is using different speakers and/or a slightly oversized helmet. Fine if thats what you want to do but when I spend £600 on a helmet I want maximum safety.
@@Bikeadelic I've had both Corsa's and mounted my 30k with the upgraded hd speakers to both. The original Corsa was much harder because the padding was solid and the speakers had to be hidden within it. By the measurements of my head I'm wearing the right size. The speakers sit fairly close to my ears but I think it depends on the shape of your head. Both helmets claim to be intermediate oval however In my experience Agv leans toward long and shoei toward round. I say this because Agv fits securely around the top of my head but not overly tight on the sides like shoei. In my experience I'm able to fit speakers without sacrificimg fit but it's going to work a little bit different for everyone.
Hey Brian good breakdown boss. Def come a long way from 10 years ago when you had only a few pieces of equipment for sale in the background and wore the Grey t shirt. Glad to see you guys still doing good up and running. Bought an icon alliance a few years back and Def loved it.
I have this helmet, the intercom speakers fit in fine no comfort issues beyond that of a "compatible" helmet. The issue is more to do with routing the wires than fitting the speakers.
I have one of those, i ride a Fireblade and i use to do around 15-20 trackdays per year. It is an awesome helmet, very comfortable, perfect fitment and the ventilation is amazing. Maybe that´s why it is a bit noisy. But i would buy it again without a doubt. Nice informative and useful video, as usual.

Manged to grab one of these locally for £450 with a deal on a dark visor- Currently sitting around 58cm head with long thick hair- running an arai rx7v M which over the past few months has gotten on the squirmy-side with fitment, so I went for the MS shell- hopefully this will suit me a bit better. Really impressed with AGV's SHARP ratings on their newer stuff.
If an Agv fits u right. U will never go to another brand for sportbikes. Not talking for naked and comfortable position riders as the main benefit of this helmet is the vertical field of view which matters when in a full tuck
My head is 59.5 and I’m wearing a ML and love it! The aerodynamics is the best on the market. I prefer it to my Bell Star, Arai, 6D and Schubert. The pin lock visor is the box is a big bonus as the rest it is extra $. The visor release button took some getting used to and I cannot use with some gloves because they don’t fit.
I crashed really hard in my corsa r. My head took the beating that my body normally would when I highsided and went face first into the dirt at like 90mph. My beaten to help visor was still locked and closed when the tumbling stopped. I did sustain a concussion that had me fucked up for like a month, but if this had been some other no name helmet… who knows. I also know that I’ve never had a concussion in a shoei before, but who knows….
I just got one and I only have two complaints. 1 the mouth guard is too close to my face, lips touch it when I speak. 2. The chin strap is TOO SHORT and really D rings to narrow, the button barely fits through to do the strap. Besides that, it's the best helmet ever. And I don't really get any noticeable wind noise.
End of the day there will always be some thing that could be a little better for every rider. We are all shaped a little differently and have unique preferences. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear yeah, sure but the difference between the fit of this helmet and my previous helmet is night and day. Both same measurements and both fit perfectly on my head, forehead and cheeks. But the room i have in front of my face, specifically the mouth area and the length of the chin strap is very big. I don't know if the helmet is supposed to be so close to my face or if I picked too small of a size but if I picked a bigger one it would be too loose on my head.

This is my favorite helmet I’ve owned! However mine is approaching 5 years old this year and I’m not finding a lot in stock. Do you know if AGV will make a successor or will they just focus on making the Pista and K6?
Are the Corsa and Pista helmets the exact same shell shape/profile? Ie, differences are in vent fittings, shell materials, etc only - but not shape/profile ... ?! Love your vids, and I'm the exact same sizing as Brian, so keep mentioning what fits you please! 😎👍🏼
J0n p3r3s - Corsa has slide-shut vents, though, whereas there are separate rubber plugs for the Pista’s vents, right?! So that’s yet another difference in features? Any others ... ?!! 🧐🤔
Kieren Moore I’ve not noticed any difference at all to be honest, I’ve tried fitting both at a local dealer as they have the pista gp at a sale but unfortunately none of them fit me comfortably. The sales staff told me that the only difference between them was that the pista gp was made of carbon and the corsa was made of fiberglass and hence was a bit heavier.
Weird- Ive tried two of these this week havign to shit them in- im a 58cm head (that can fit into a S arai) the MS wouldnt even go over my forehead and left red marks in my skull for 2 days from me trying lol, but the ML seems to be a little big... very confusing
We are all shaped a little differently. That said I am 58cm on the money and can not wear a size small in the Arai Corsair-X but get a great fit from the Medium Small in the Corsa. - Van
Which helmet In your opinion has the best aerodynamic and ventilation + can fit communication system in it, I want that helmet that'll reduce most of the wind buffeting when I ride my naked bike with wind shield.
The Shark Race R Pro is the quietest full face helmet I have ridden in to date. It also has very little buffeting. Another good option is the Bell Race Star. Hello, I currently have a shoei rf1400 and I’m looking for something alil lighter and better airflow for track days. What are your thoughts or preference between the Arai Corsair X or AGV Corsa r. Id love your opinion on which you prefer. I live by your reviews and opinion about the sport.
Both the AGV and the Arai will flow a ton of air. If weight is important to you the AGV will be a few ounces lighter as well. IMO very hard to go wrong with either of these helmets. - Van
how would you compare this one to the shoei x spirit 3? im buying one of these in 1-2 months and im not 100% decided yet, leaning towards shoei tho. Another thing that worries me a bit is that new ece 22.06 standard... dont want to pay 900€ and 2 monts later they will come out with shoei x spirit R or something...
The biggest difference when comparing premium helmets like the Pista to those which cost less would be the experience while riding in the helmet is nicer with the premium stuff. When safety in the topic you will find nearly identical levels of safety. - Van
I was the same. But I couldn't justify replacing my Corsair V with the X when the changes made were so minor. And it REALLY bugs me how Arai refuses to get with the times as far as aerodynamics are concerned. I'm not paying premium money for 15 year old design philosophies.
We have a shit ton of helmets in stock. What we have here in our MI warehouse varies from day to day based on what has sold each day. We have some select Corsa and Pista helmets here in stock most of the time. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear I buy alot of gears from you guys and love the videos. Often times this is my "Go To" site when working on my GSXR1000. As for this helmet, I like the Graphics and look, but Arai is my helmet of choice. I think AGV be buggin on their higher end helmets.
