The company name is the initials for Amisano Gino Valenza, Amisano's name and Valenza, the place the company was based. The AGV logo is the initials in a helmet shape, in the colors of the Italian flag.

My man, congratulations you won’t be disappointed. I have around ten other helmets, and I will tell you, this helmet is addicting. Even when I go riding on the street. It’s so light and comfortable. Oh yeah, and of course, beautiful.
On my third helmet. I ride with the Bell Race Star DLX Flex. My absolute favorite right now. Getting a Pista RR soon. Probably not gonna ride in it much since it doesn’t have speaker pockets being a dedicated track helmet and all (Only getting it for looks haha)
That’s what I thought when I bought this, but I’m telling you, this helmet is so light and comfortable, and I always find myself grabbing this helmet when I head out.
how about the iridium effect? is it really popping out when we're seeing it in person? cause it's not really that visible on camera. By the way nice review dude, keep safety riding!
Yes, the iridium effect in person is stunning. I try to use a ring light to show it off, but the camera doesn’t do it justice. I’m planning to do some Motovlogging videos and will show the helmet in the sunlight, which shows it off the best. Come back check me out around March. Bro, I’ve been there. There was a time I was dead-ass broke too. But show up early, listen twice as much as you talk, and outwork all the guys around you. And you will have this helmet and a lot more take care, brother😉
My man, thank you. It fits like a glove snug fit, and very light the padding inside is very comfortable. And most of all, my favorite thing about AGV helmets is the field of vision Is phenomenal.
My, man, there’s no such thing as a dumb question. There is no shelf life as long as you take care of them. I have helmets that I’ve had for 10+ years. You only have to get rid of Them if you have a full-force impact on the helmet.
I wrecked back in May wearing a HJC cs-r3. The video is on my posted videos, I crashed going 60 into a guard rail, and I took a significant blow to the head. I suffered many broken bones and injuries, but I never lost consciousness, I had no concussion at all. Helmet did its job extra proper. I'm watching your video because I really want the pista when I'm healed and ready to ride again. Good informative video, thanks for sharing!
@@jakesantos3154Thanks for sharing your experience, that 5 year thing about the shell getting weaker felt like a marketing myth, also if the padding gets old you can replace these agv pads which is another reason i bought it
