If you don't want to than here's an abridged version: about 500 Russian backed syrians and Wagner troops were going to try to take an oil refinery (or extraction machine I forget which) from American backed syrians and 30 American special forces; four hours later at least half of the attacking force lost, all but one of the 27 Russian vehicles destroyed, and the Russian backed forces surrendered, and America didn't just open fire, they called to ask and make sure that the approaching force wasn't Russian and if they were to turn around, at least 3 times before the battle started and a few more times during the battle. The American backed side only suffered a single casualty: a Syrian soldier who wasn't even shot, and if I remember correctly injury resulted from tripping.

Although I don't think we should be like Japan in the Edo period, I recognize the necessity of some kind of actions in international affairs are important. But in my opinion I think that a country's primary focus should be their people rather than people overseas, and we've become more focus on the latter rather than the former. Perhaps *a* solution lies in international communities like the UN or NATO, get a whole bunch of countries to work together to deal with a certain issue instead of a single country acting on their own. I know it would be unreasonable to say a country should not interact with others, there still needs to be room for that. But for the most part I _feel_ like international affairs should be less of a national concern and more of an international concern.

This song also indirectly describes why I don’t plan on voting next year (UPDATE: I am voting for RFK Jr), one side is like “lets bomb countries half way across the world” and the other is the same but with BLM and LGBT stickers (I’m bi and the pinkwashing is sickening) while neither actually fix actual issues in America. As someone who is gay and has many colored friends, LGBT and BLM are NOT about protecting people like us. It's a politicized lever that is used to push someone's agenda, under the guise of protecting minorities.
@@dogman3362I can relate, I’m bi and I feel the same way about it (at least when it comes to the Anglosphere, I get bad things happen and there is some progress to be made but everything ends up becoming a political shitshow when it shouldn’t be) Point I was trying to illustrate was that both the Republicans and Democrats serve the oligarchs, corporations, and the war machine. @@DoIgopyat Negative, if you are referring to Donbass and Luhansk, if let's say Rostov in Russia wanted to be independent Russia wouldn't let them succeed to Ukraine, would they? No, also in Donbass people started raiding police stations and getting weapons and they were separatists and were funded by Russia, after this the Ukrainian government started attacking and bombing the separatists in their country.
