I use the Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial and alternate it with the Farmacy Honey Moon Glow AHA every other week. They have really helped my oily skin. I used to have a lot of texture and constantly fighting to get rid of my hyper-pigmentation. I found a great SPF moisturizer also from Origins. I've found that I don't have to use a vitamin C serum to lighten the dark spots. My skin is so smooth and glowing now. This is a very informative video. Thanks for breaking it down.

So glad I finally found this video, had hoped you'd made one talkin' about mandelic acid.. definitely think it's where I'm gonna start with for my man, ease him into chemical exfoliation since physical cleansers he's loved and, don't wanna undo my progress in gettin' him into skincare stuffs to begin with. 😬😹 Lactic has become my absolute holy grail; glycolic for my body, though, tbh, but do not mind extra lactic for my body, too; if my routine don't have TO lactic 10% for more than two weeks, then my skin definitely shows it.

If you use an AHA at night should you put sunscreen on at night as well? Also what are some good sunscreens for black skin?

If you’re using AHA right before bed sunscreen isn’t necessary, most chemical sunscreens are better for darker and Black skin bc there’s 0 white cast. Supergoop is known for having sunscreen go on as clear, I heard the Fenty Beauty sunscreen is very good, Beet the sun by Krave beauty sunscreen is really good and very moisturizing. Also there’s Black Girl Sunscreen that’s sold at target haven’t tried it but there’s lots of reviews on RU-vid

Kevin Brenyah BHA. Salicylic acid will help with prevention as well. Try Cerave SA Renewing wash.

Salicylic acid is the probably the best acid to use for ingrown hairs. You can use a cleanser if you're very sensitive or a leave-on serum if your skin can handle it.
