Jordan revealed himself in his Hall of Fame speech. For some reason people was hurt by his words. I thoroughly enjoyed it. He wasn't bitter as some said. He gave glimpses of what he used to drive himself to perform at the highest level.
Ray J. Yes. I've always enjoyed that hall of fame speech - never thought anything negative about it, and I'm fairly intuitive/sensitive. I found it refreshing actually, and so was pretty surprised when a couple friends (fellow MJ fans) of mine took stabs at him for it. I think many people _entirely_ misread his tone & intention. Either that or the media simply pushed a sensational narrative (sound familiar? 🙄) and the uncritical ran with it.

MJ won MVP, scoring title, steals title, AND defensive player of the year in the same season. Fact check: No player ever has achieved all that in a season (Lebron doesn't even have a single DPOY or steals leader). Jordan has the highest PPG, playoff PPG, and Finals PPG. He's a better offensive rebounder (yes this is a statistical fact), better at defense, better at steals and blocks. Only things Lebron is better than MJ at is passing and defensive rebounding, nothing else tbh. Funny part is that I didn't have to mention anything about their mental gap, rings, or anything "team-related" (because apparently rings are just a "team accomplishment").
