You’re correct that an RN cannot diagnose. However, I believe the victim was seen by an NP. They, under the direct supervision for a licensed physician, make varying diagnosis of patients that are under their care.

When you say victim you presuppose that Arbery was innocent, which is whar this trial is about. If Arbery was innocent then the man who shot him was wrong. If Arbery wasn't innocent then the man who shot him wasn't wrong.
@@notme3686 arbery was innocent. the men that took part in his hunt and MURDER are wrong. what did arbery do to them for them to get their guns jump in their trucks and chase after him? what did arbery do to them for them to keep cutting him off and hit him with a truck? what did arbery do to them for travis to get out of the truck with a rifle point center mass and MURDER HIM. the young man was running for his life for almost 10 minutes while being chased and cut of by the MURDERERS. I CAN'T get my gun and just go after a man with ivory skin color that's walking down my street with a child just because i think he's going to take that child someplace and mess with them in their private parts even though i know that most children are messed with that way by men with ivory skin color. i've read the stats as a former L.E.O. if i have a suspicion i have to call and wait for the POLICE.

I find it very troubling that a person can be mentally ill by a nurse that became mental health nurse by ticking boxes on a computer, and by an NP...both only had a 2mins appointment... It takes a qualified Psychiatrist months and months of appointments to make a diagnosis.. What if he only had a problem with law enforcement as they are only bring up when he was angry with the police....4 witness were 4 law enforcement... So he's had 3 bad days in 3 years makes him mental ill..WoW!... Actually if they want to go down the route he had an mental illness,I find it even worse they chanced down and kill a mentally ill person ..as a mental ill person would be more scared of 3 men chancing him with guns...they would have made his mental issues thousand times worse, they would have put I'm in a mental health crisis...
Right or wrong these two men took the law into their own hands they did not get a court to judge like they are getting. They took it upon themselves to confront this man and kill him. They should have called the police and stayed out of it. When they picked up their weapons they had every intention of using them.
They did call the police though. What you are really saying is people have no right to do anything when the community they and their families live in are being terrorized.
@@highroller4230 I don’t think an unarmed guy jogging who had only been seen on camera looking at a building under construction and not by the men in question would classify as terrorising! Plus they only called the police After they had chased him down in 2 trucks and cornered him with a shotgun and pistol infact You can hear on the 911 call the rifle being shot!

I see why Atlanta/ Georgia goes through so much, they have airheads for defense attorney that took up 2 or more days to talk about the victim school records than what happen on the day he was murdered and then it's the airheaded judge for me who is scared to tell him flat out no we not going to waste the court and tax payers time and that we need to talk about the actual day the victim was murder. How hard is it to talk about what happen on that day not when he found his high school sweet heart. Dayyyyyyyyum. Oh yea not to mention that the judge listen to a nurse diagnosis, that like a bank robber telling a surgeon how to perform open heart surgery. How more stupid can look in court. This also shows that the defense attorney knows both of his clients is guilty including soup bowl cut and his attorney Barney Pfeiffer.
This type of thing really educate common folk on how the court system works. The Defense attorney is arguing attempting to get Amaud Mental Health Records enter into evidence . So he can present it to the Jury. The Defense Attorney cant present it . If it is not approve by the Judge.
They have to decide what is going to be shown to the jury before the trial, like with his mental health and been on probation was not allowed to be presented to the jury as the defendants did not know anything about him when they hunted and killed him.
I never watched the preliminary rulings until now. Watched every part of the jury trial. It's disturbing that the judge ruled all this evidence as non admissable. This info certainly should have been put out to the jury during trial.
i don't understand what something that happened years ago have to do with the man being murdered. those 3 murderers don't know his past and even if they did it does not justify them hunting down a man and murdering him for what they thought might be trespassing that they did not see that day.

Right from the start the defense attorneys were trying to equate their clients with the duties of a police officer. Interesting how the Judge allowed the defense attorneys to try and establish a reason as to their clients actions as to say Ahmuad Arbery dosen't comply to authorities, but the problem is the McMichaels and William R Bryant are not in any authorization of any legal action to contain Ahmuad Arbery. His mental record was not an issue he wasn't on any kind of medication, it was just a part of his probationary process that had nothing to do with The McMichaels and William R Bryant murdering Ahmuad Arbery.
This is a pre trial hearing were both defence and prosecution state to judge what they want or plan to present at trial their evidence the judge then decides on what he will agree can be presented after considering both sides arguments often based on previous trials. It is obvious that the route the defence is hoping or planning to use in trial is to portray the victim as mentally unstable that has previously been arrested for having a firearm and shop lifting and is known to police as aggressive they are doing this to say that he was shot in self defence . The prosecution is doing her best to say this is not relevant to the case in hand and the only evidence that be allowed be that of evidence of what happened on the day he was shot dead! We can only hope that the Judge sees Reason and sides with the prosecution as it is my honest belief that the defence is desperately trying to portray the victim in such a bad light that a jury would be very lenient and if found guilty given a light sentence! I hope and Pray that the son and father get life sentences to me that is justice
Hey Lawyer can you go check on your clients Mental Status now. Gregory said he couldn't sleep. Anything that happened prior to February 23 should not be allowed. It is all irrelevant. These three defendants did not know the victim at all, did they?
A fox in the henhouse is a fox in the henhouse. Doesn't matter whether the farmer knows if that fox had killed before. He just needs to reasonably explain why he thought he was going after a fox. Maybe foxes in general had been eating his chickens. Maybe no fox had eaten his chickens. But he sees a fox in his henhouse, maybe he should take action. And if that fox turns on him and tries to bite him, maybe the farmer would instinctively shoot that fox.

@@mysteriousmystery6960 Several different things, such as his appeal could actually change state law around automatic lwops when there was not even an attempt to kill anyone.
I’m sorry but who in their RIGHT MIND chooses to attack someone holding a shotgun, unless they are 1000% certain it’s a do or die scenario? It should have been totally evident based on the facts of what occurred that these nuts were not out to kill him (at least to anyone rational and of average or higher intelligence ) Their decision to take the law into their own hands and threaten, attempt to detain using firearms is what they will likely be found guilty of leading to Ahmaud’s death. But the truth also exists that Ahmaud’s mental health also played a large role in what ultimately caused the action which resulted in Travis having no choice but to defend by shooting Ahmaud…otherwise obvious risk of being shot if Ahmaud was successful in removing Travis’s shotgun. I’m really surprised how many don’t comprehend that two things can be true here.
Since they were claiming that they were carrying out a citizen's arrest, Mr. Arbery's mental health was irrelevant. Whether his actions when "trapped like a rat" the defendants own words were affected by his mental health was irrelevant since they were responsible for him being in that position initially. I am glad the jury was able to see that.
I am really surprised that Travis was in fear for his life but had the weapon. I am surprised he got out the car with weapon if he was in such fear. Now he will be safe every night when they lock his cell door for the next 30 years plus
