+Spudtron98 She fell into another Time Portal in the Sith Temple and Fought Count Dooku. Then Snoke. Then Kylo Ren. Then Starkiller (Crossed over into Legends) Then back to the Temple Entrance.
I hope everyone appreciates that Ashoka - in the space of less than an hour - fought multiple Inquisitors, then Maul, THEN Darth Vader, and *THEN* had a Force struggle with the freaking Senate. Girl's got mad stamina.
*He was about to kill his old apprentice *She disappears. *A Few years later he was about to kill his old master *He disappears. Vader: ノಠ_ಠノ I'm done with this shit!
Dz ikr but don’t forget she fought off Darth Maul moments before Darth Vader. So that means she faced three of the most powerful and fearsome dark force users in a span of minutes and lived. This proves how badass Ahsoka really is
she was literally going to die from that Vader fight until Ezra pulled her out of the fight. so, not really all that impressive when the former would have killed her had she not been ripped out of time to the world between worlds.
MYGOD actually Dave filoni has stated if not pulled out she wouldn’t have died she would have made her way to the temple making them both live but Ezra pulled her out that is why she won’t be seen in revels after this because she is still going back to malcor to stay in time very much impressive
WillFanofMany i disagree agreeing with the man that created the show Vader wouldn’t have survived if Ashoka didn’t stab her lightsabers threw the floor causing him to fall and kind u survive so she could too in a way Ezra and Ashoka both saved Vader not intentionally tho
The episode explains the real reason the Empire came to Lothal in the first place so that The Emperor could find the portal to the world between worlds and rule the galaxy for eternity and have real unlimited power
@Pyro Head Only because he grabbed Ezra, making a connection between who is inside the portal, and who is out. When Ahsoka cuts that energy whip, his hand is bounced off of the portal instantly. Only through Sith Magic he could at least see them and "rain fire" to them. The fire can pass through the portal much probably because it's not made of something material, but raw energy and also, because....magic.
And I still believe that Transfer Essence is a Better way for Sith to achieve Immortality than Through the world between worlds because I still don’t how he could use it to rule the galaxy for eternity and have real unlimited power GamerBro18?
Ghost Anakin: Where is Ahsoka? Ghost Obi-wan: What? She’s not here. Anakin: What? I saw her disappear just like you did. Ghost Yoda: Alive, She is. Anakin: What? How? Obi-wan: Are you sure she just disappeared? Anakin: Oh, don’t start that. Yoda: *Laughing because he knows.*
@Green Reaper The same way Ghost Obi-wan and Ghost Anakin became Obi-wan and Anakin... *Ghost Magic* (Either that or we all died while reading the comment.)
@CjTz 21 Being a Mary Sue would mean that she has no flaws, which is not true. Ahsoka has a ton of them. In fact there are multiple seasons of a TV show focusing on those flaws. The word you are looking for is "experienced"
The Rebels: It cannot be! You fell! Ahsoka: Through fire... and water... From the lowest dungeon to the highest peak, I fought him, the Dark Lord of the Sith ...And I strayed out of thought and time. Stars wheeled overhead and everyday was as long as a life-age of the earth. But it was not the end. I felt life in me again. I have been sent back, until my task is done. The Rebels: Ahsoka! Ahsoka: Ahsoka? Yes... that's what they used to call me. Ahsoka the Grey. That was my name. I am Ahsoka the White! I come back to you now, at the turn of the tide.
Imagine Ahsoka leading Leia's allies to Crait. Tano: "The Princess of Alderaan stands alone" Wedge: "Not alone! Red Squadron, form up!" *Several X-Wings enter from Hyperspace*
Since the gateway will be "sealed off" like the Void in Doctor Who, I doubt it. Still a fucking cool and amazing concept nonetheless! #FiloniForLucasfilmsCEO
The temple collapsed and 'The world between worlds' is now gone Or at least unaccesable !!!!! AHHH did no one actually watch the episode ? Why does everyone act like all characters who died can be brought back ? The temple is gone and so is the world between worlds. Even if it hadn't clear boundaries were shown guys jesus.
you know what ezra should have said after telling you can't save kanan "hey i have an idea lets stop your master being darth vader!" "Good idea!" *directed by dave filoni*
Adam Sky, Yes, let's stop Anakin from becoming Vader, so everything changes and I would probably not know that I have the Force to become a Jedi, to come here and save your master, so he becomes Vader either way. Time travel paradox.
Like how Trunks went back in time to save the Z Fighters, and how the Avengers went back in time to "borrow" the Infinity Stones from different timelines??
@@ccroftFinally someone’s that thinks smart, Ahsoka heard the loud bang and she knew it was going to be a big explosion for both. Then she starts creating the hole to be able to save Vader and herself however she never realized Vader was going to just kill her. Ezra saved her on time, and Ahsoka saved Vader that is how he managed to survive the explosion.
"When you get back, come and find me!" "I will! I promise!" Wow, this makes more sense why Ahsoka went to find Ezra with Sabine. She likes to keep her promises.
It would've been bad ass to see her lightsabers ignite in the last film when Rey and Kylo were defeated by palpatine. Palpatine: "You think youll defeat me as a citizen?" Ahsoka- "no......... as a jedi"
...that wasn't the story big Disney wanted to tell. I'm happier with Ahsoka's story being told in television series format. More room for story and character.
I just checked. They aren't the exact same but there's definitely similarities (though Ahsoka may juat have been pronouncing it wrong). It's probably some sort of Sith language.
He sort of did when presiding over Ahsoka's trial in TCW too. Different tone, but I attribute to this being a result of Ian Mcdiarmid playing Palpatine rather than Tim Curry or Sam Witwer.
I love how the cartoons do a better job at capturing the emotional depth and character driven story arcs better than the current big budget star wars films
Can we all acknowledge the fact that Ezra is the real MVP for literally saving Ashoka from a fate far worse than death by Vader but being written off completely for no reason.
I would hardly have said it was “for no reason”. Personally, I don’t think they should have brought her back. Being killed by Vader is a pretty fitting end to her character.
John Thomson Hahaha good point you're right, yeah I meant he mumbled a bit like if he had something in his teeth (in contrast to ROTS, e. g. "Welcome young Skywalker" sounded A VERY BIT like Shkywalker.) During ROTJ Ian was about 38 and he said in an interview that he had been said that The Emperor would be very old so he made the effort to speak like that. Ye you're right but I meant really a little but still.
Just realised that this blue fire means palpatine magic, and it is the blue fire that came from the death star when palpatine was "killed". So disney was already preparing itself for his return
5:22 that moment where vader survives wounded combined with the music is giving me chills.the dude is an unkillable emotionless intelligent killing machine
What's really more trippy is according to the 9th sister, he wants to die and that's why he always throws himself to deaths peril without a care, he's on the same league as unkillable movie monsters.
I really feel like Ahsoka is way more important than most people think. Btw: I really hope to see more of Ezra and/or Ahsoka in the future, they're part of my favourite Star Wars characters.
But doesn’t explain why ahsoka didn’t went to the rebels crew I mean she new what was going to happen 3 years before why didn’t she helped the rebels ?
L. R. Cause then it would change the future. Resulting in her not getting saved or destroying the timeline. It could have disastrous impacts to mess with the timeline.
This! Been reading all of people’s opinions about this episode and none of them pointed this out. I think it’s one of the reason why the Force wills Ezra and Ahsoka to be in this realm. They are the Balance and both light and dark are needed to enter the realm. Hence why Palps couldn’t.
@@nomorechance4754 Just my opinion. Vadar isn't as powerful in his Vadar form. Absolutely isn't. And the Girl doesn't follow Ahsoka for nothing. She's the embodiment of the Light. Jsut my opinion.
@@windingroadelven to be fair vader before his prime wrecked 8 jedi masters at once and he can use the force to take down an AT-AT, ahsoka is strong, but not vader level strong
Just realised how his last words to Ahsoka were "come and find me." Very fitting considering the current circumstances. Did he somehow know being in a place disconnected from normal time that he would need her to come save him?
She'll pass away soon (maybe when she becomes old) and become a force ghost just like the others, and probably reunite with Anakin (who is a force ghost after return of the jedi) and they'll live happily in the force together. At least that's my happy ending
I heard from several others that, in canon, she is confirmed to be alive in TROS, meaning she's old at this point, unless like, her species ages differently or somethin'.
@@delmarfrazier2727 I never said that wasn't the case, just that she broke the floor so Vader wouldn't get crushed by the falling ceiling. She saved Vader, right as she was about to be killed by him, then Ezra saved her.
This is already starting to hit different after Ahsoka eps 1 and 2. Like, imagine fighting Maul, Inquisitors, Vader, and then the Emperor all in the same day. And that's with the knowledge that Anakin was Vader. No wonder she's so battle-hardened now.
I love how the director of this show potray Anakin as a boss that are extremely hard to defeat but they somehow can still fight and fend him off away though Palpatine..... he is the most powerful boss who our hero have no option to fight but run from him..... it do make these two to look even scarier and fearsome than they already is..... especially Emperor Palpatine..... damn! he is scary as heck even though he have a less screentime in this
One thing I've always wondered is exactly when did Ahsoka return after this scene. I originally assumed the time portal would only allow a return to your own time which is why Ezra went to his time and I thought Ahsoka back to the temple just after Vader left. However the quote 'come and find me' makes me think she returned after the RotJ. This would also explain why she wasn't available during the original trilogy but allowed her to return in time for Sabine's quest to find Ezra.
njebei Interesting, but how long do rebels take? I thought they were only between episode 3 and 4. I honestly think she comes back right after, but obviously than why didn’t she look for Ezra earlier? Also maybe she takes time to learn and transform to Ahsoka we see at the end of Rebels.
@@juliaurbanska8318 Late, but better than never: The story of Rebels span roughly five years (5 BBY to just before Scarif); the events of "A World Between Worlds" occur just before the Liberation of Lothal. In addition, according to the reference book "Ultimate Star Wars, New Edition" (which came out in 2019), Ahsoka apparently embarked on a spiritual journey after managing to find another way into the World Between Worlds, and maybe that's something they'd explore in further detail somewhere in the future (likely in the upcoming Ahsoka series? who knows)
I am surprised Rise of Skywalker didn’t use this concept. It would perfectly explain how Palpatine returned. He opened a portal at the bottom of the Throne Room pit, and re-emerged elsewhere, building his contingency plan.
Actually it‘s explained in the movies (but very badly) So he and his former master discovered the secret to immortality, which was transferring your mind to another body. That‘s why we saw clone bodies on Exegol. He had all of this prepared. When he was thrown over the edge by Vader, he gathered himself and transferred his mind into one of the clones-and lives. (Still that‘s a bs story and the new movies were crap)
Technically in my eyes, Ahsoka had an advantage when fighting Vader she was one of the last few good things from Anakin's life so maybe Vader sub-consciously held back not wanting to hurt her due to his previous attachment to her you can even see his moment (although brief) of hesitation when she mentions him by name.
I just realized when he says "then you will die," that's the voice of Anakin (not JEJ) without his respirator. I'ts pretty much confirmation that her master really is gone. Dang that's sad. I just watched the CW finale. This scene hits harder now.
Ashoka has fought now at this point. Sidious. Grievous. Maul and Vader. The most dangerous villains in star wars and survived. Even though she ran from sidious and grievous. She did put up a good fight with Vader and bested maul.
Do you think Vader actually killed Ahsoka, but Ezra then changes the past by pulling her into the World Between Worlds? Or do you think Ahsoka vanished from Vaders point of view?
What about the Porg attack on the Ewoks? What about the Ewok attack on the Clones? (this is tenuous, but who knows, some of those stormtroopers might have been clones left over from the old days) What about the Clone attack on the Droids? What about the Droid attack on the Wookies? W -> P -> E /\ | |- D
You guys need to stop looking at things as is and think outside the box. Dave Filoni just gave us the blue print as to how palpatine was always 1 step ahead of everyone. Hello.... he figure out how to enter that world in between worlds.... and from there he was able to see and alter the future. Vader even said it in this episode. It was foretold of our long awaited meeting. Thats how that wrinkled old buzzard keep a step ahead of the jedi and the republic.
0:56 is one of the few times that Anakin breaks free from Vader's control. (I wish that his eye had briefly turned blue before flickering back to yellow) He stands there thinking about their past before he remembers that she abandoned him and Vader takes back control with his desire to eradicate everything that reminds him of his past. Bringing the light in Vader back to the surface is something only Luke would ever achieve again.
Ahsoka clearly had to opportunity to kill Vader, if only she was relentless and kept battering him after she dealt that hefty blow shattering his headpiece.
Bro, This had to be the worst day in Ahsoka's Life lmao. 1) She fights 3 Inquisitors 2) She Fights Maul 3) She Fights Vader 4) She learns Vader is Anakin 5) Meets Palpatine 6) Has to return and Stay on Malachore for at least 2 or more Years
The part where the Senate shows up and it zooms in on his face, no joke, it always gives me chills and sends a frightful shiver down my spine. EVERY TIME!!
Fun fact: If you listen closely, after Ezra says, "You were fighting Vader", you can hear Vader in the background say "Obi-Wan never told you..." and "If you only knew the power of the Dark Side" 2:54 and 3:05
