That’s how CG animatics usually work. They polish it later. You’ll also notice how the voice acting isn’t from the real voice actors. It’s just a temp track to use for reference. They animate the facial stuff later down the line when the voice actors finally finish their recordings of the lines.

Yea when Ahsoka hot head butted she kinda closed her eyes but when she got kneed to the stomach or choked she showed no reaction

@@LetsPlayWalkers you can’t just take a lightsaber hit to the face like that without having a proper reaction to it. The lightsaber has the power of the sun so one cut to the face and smiling isn’t that simple or possible just look at Anakin. I don’t doubt he can take a tremendous amount of pain but he barely had a reaction to the lightsaber hit, people he screaming and awwing in pain

In my understanding, its not as easy as you put it. Yes, Jedi can use the force. However, it is implied that using the force while in combat does require more delicate focus than using it outside of combat. That, and the added fact that you have to be physically present, makes using the force in fights pretty dangerous. Thats why the lightsaber exists, and its the reason why the Jedi rely on lightsaber skills the most during fights. Hope this explained it :)

So its less about the force, and more about how skilled you are with a lightsaber. So non force users can for all intent and purposes still be a dangerous foe.

We’ll all the Mandalorian gadgets was made to kill Jedi after they designed them in the war against the jedi, yes the mandalorians lost although they ended up killing close to a million Jedi in the process

Mando armor and weapons were designed specifically to mimic or counter jedi abilities

yea he got more hits on Ahsoka then the original, in the original all he did was kick her stomach then didn't hit her at all In this scene he lands a kick on her, headbutts her, knees her stomach pretty hard, then choke lifts her, which is more action then most of her fights besides grievous

Yeah, but that would require him to have his helmet on inside the tent, and we wouldn't get to see his face during his talk with Lux.

Mandalorians as a whole have never been all villains though, they've always been a race of honorable warriors. The Death Watch are only a group of Mandalorians and are not representative of the entire culture.

@dancingvalkyrie Only sometimes, like Jango/Boba Fett and groups like Death Watch, but for the most part in Legends Mandalorians were actually pretty similar to a lot of their interpretation in The Mandalorian what with being warriors that were honorable and had a STRONG sense of family (because it was one of the core tenants of the Mandalorian creed).

The Mandalorians we see in The Mandalorian are only a couple of different groups that are considered "good guys," much like how there are a lot of "good" Mandalorian groups in Legends. Mandalorians are a culture with many different sects and views, as well as many different groups that fight for both good and evil. Mandalorians have never been a group of all bad guys, so the fact that the ones we see in The Mandalorian are all good guys is NOT new to the Star Wars series, and has always been a thing with Mandalorians such as Fenn Shysa, Kal Skirata and his clan, and even Jango and Boba Fett in a number of Legends stories.

@@joshuakeur1776 it’s really dark and she’s 16 here and in season 7 she’s 17 which by I believe. is it shows galactic laws in Star Wars makes her a adult by there laws so closer to a Adult at this point by Star Wars logic apparently don’t believe google it! But this scene shows how evil pre vizla is given he’s whiling to throatlift and try to stab and teen the the face! And people think this show is for kids?!

@@joshuakeur1776 what is the purpose of strangling her at all when she is ARMED with TWO lightsabers, neither of which are restrained? A slash to the face is her being nice. A mere flick of the wrist, and he'd have lost his arm. A simple thrust, and he'd be dead. Literally, nothing in that sequence made any sense. I'm very glad it was cut.

they could have just made this an arc with her being choked out and captured by the Mandalorians while Lux and R2 get away and survive in the cold climate Meanwhile, while they are surviving Ahsoka is tied up in the deathwatch camp getting questioned about Dooku and the Jedi and where Lux is but Ahsoka doesn't want to say anything so they start torturing her Eventually reinforcements arrive for Lux and they go into the camp and push Deathwatch out and they find Ahsoka unconscious and weakened from all the torture so they untie her and take her back to the ship and put her in the medical bay This would honestly put Ahsoka and Lux's bond together and altogether make an interesting arc that I would personally watch over and over Like the Umbara arc@@joshuakeur1776

I think the fight would be better in full especially when he was grabbing her throat and lifting her of the ground and start choking her

@Cobraxx fun fact the reason why Ahsoka is getting choked all the time is because she is a teenager and teenagers like me having one weakness that every teenager feared that is being choked especially someone is lifting you in the air by the throat i experience that to a day ago some of my classmate just started choking me and jus lifting me of the ground

@@joshuakeur1776 true but choking is also one of the easiest ways to knock out a Jedi The top 4 easiest ways go like this 1. Electrocution/stunning because you don’t have to get close really and all Jedi are able to be electrocuted and stunned 2. Choking because all Jedi can be choked and pass out from lack of oxygen especially padawans like Ahsoka 3. Head Trauma because it’s harder to hit a force sensitive person on the head before they sense you and all of Ahsokas head trauma ko’s we’re from things like going headfirst into a wall or hitting her head against the steering throttle of a ship and the only time she was knocked out from head trauma by a person was hondo but she was captured then 4. Gassing because it can go 50/50 and is the least effective Head trauma and choking can possibly switch

It might've been in a earlier draft of the episode but likely got phased out when the producers settled to feature Pre having the scar already, as a sign of when he bailed out of his alliance with Dooku & the Separatists from Season 2.
