Headed out on part of the Snowdonia slate trail from Dorothea quarry in the hope of finding the field full of bluebells I had visited before. Also, with no end of AI advertising on social media, i give my honest viewpoint as always on where I stand on it.

A very interesting location..... my take on AI is I love to get outside..... the image is only part of photography for me as I see it as a package for us landscape photographers, AI will never take that experience away 👍🏻

Most of the AI I have seen is exactly what I expected. Prompted imagery that looks like those instagram bangers with high saturation and contrast. In effect AI just blends in with all that noise. Photography outside of that style will continue to have a voice. If instagram bangers is the style you’re going for then you’re going to get swallowed in the noise AI or not.

Yes agree👌 probably instaglamers dream. Anyhow, as you say, it won’t change my style either, but the arguments will always be there especially for those who try to needlessly justify their choice in the arguments 😏. Thanks Russell, keep shooting👍

As you said AI is here to stay, embrace it or lose out. Think of some of the cheap wedding photographers about, 1000 shots on a USB stick, they couldn't have done that back in the day of film, they wouldn't have been able to afford the film lol. But digital is here and quality shines through. As for the gate and barbed wire, it could be down to wild campers and all the crap they have left. If you found the farmer and asked permission, he/she may say yes.

Yes, could well be wild campers as you say, but didn’t bother me due to having the drone. I’m sure if asked, permission would have be given to any photographer just wanting to fire off a few frames. 👍

Thank you Simon. Just had a problem with the end of the video as the photos & another short drone clip didn’t upload 🤬. Will show a couple of the bluebell shots in the next video,. Glad you enjoyed it👍

Hi Mark, great video, love the old buildings, looks like an interesting place, as for AI, I imagine it will be great for marketing, being able to put their product in any scene they wish is going to save money, I am not sure about the photography aspect though, I don't think you could replace photography. Shame you couldn't get into the farmers land anymore, that jetty would make an interesting image at some point.

Thank you Keith,👍. Yes agree with you on the marketing side👌 but as you say, never will replace photography. It won’t stop me as I enjoy going out & taking my images as I want, & no AI will stop that😀👍

Shame about the bluebells, enjoyed the drone footage and the images you did get though. As to AI nothing really to add that hasn’t been said, it wont take away from the experience we have as Landscape Photographers.
