Such raw talent and when he won the 2006 Rip Curl contest in Mexico against a stacked deck of international pros it cemented his place as top dog against anyone, and he was having fun while Taj and the other tour boys were stressing on how to advance to the next round and Andy was going vertical when everyone else were trying to get tube time. We miss you Andy, but u left the magic behind for the rest of us to just be in awe of the best surfer GOD has put on this planet!

I don't think there's a single guy on tour in 2016 that comes close to the power, speed, and technical abilities of AI. Best barrel rider of all time. Also, AI throws the fucking gnarliest turns in the heaviest most technical section of the wave like its nothing. Air drops out of the sky back into the pocket. My god. Miss watching this guy. RIP.
Amazing performance! His body seem to be so relaxed and chill while doing the gnarly stuff. He is charging this double and triple overheads and in the same time looks like he is out there having fun on shoulder high waves. There is nobody to this day doing it like Andy.
Man did I just see that or am I dreaming I just saw him do something that made me realize how he reads these waves,like know one else it will be in the last page of my second book,hah hah hah....just kidding I just watched Andy do a double 360s as he's tracking his wave he's key ing off something other than just living in the water...I say this coz when I see him surf he has the wave covered and is right in the sweet spot and he know and he's stays there unroll its gone and just concentrates on doing his thing till the power that's pushing him is all gone like a current,I'm laughing its like he was watching bait fish or something...I'm not gonna say what I really believe,but when u reach ZEN in your game you start to think at a another level and then u have time to say hey let me try this and may be it don't work but then it opens your thinking up to something that does work....like staying calm....and focused but what are u focused on I'm sure some days the water is harder to feel than other...piece out.great surfing.
