Thank you sensei this will help me a lot. at the end to be a good uke is practice to be present, live in the now and not project the future. Aikido is like meditation in movement.

This talk makes a lot of sense. I can see now how I need to stop thinking about what happened and what's going to happen during training. It's very easy to get caught up in worrying about what others think during demonstrations too. Be more in the moment. Gotcha.

My Sensei sais, and I agree, a good Uke is an honest Uke: attacks with honesty and if you find flaws in the technique (according to the level of the Nage) you shouldn't be complacent.

Hi, my best advice is to never compare yourself to others in Aikido. Development in Aikido works on very many levels and if you choose to observe only one, you might feel disappointed over and over, although you might be improving more on another level.
