Try the Artisan Raiden if you don't like the course or rough texture. Not really a fair comparison tbh. The Raiden honestly is a silky smooth surface, the smoothest pad I've ever used that wasn't a glass pad.
@@ZXTech for most people, it immediately becomes end game material. you should check out fresh reviews video titled “best mouse pad ever made” and you’ll get an in depth explanation on why it’s the GOAT and he’s one of the few reviewers who’s actually tried hundreds of pads and is really high rank in the games he plays so he’s not just shilling or talking out of his ass like some reviewers on here (cough, boardzy) also, please make sure you get the v2 edition of the raiden, if you buy from amazon there’s a chance you receive the older not updated raiden. best to order directly from artisan themselves to make sure you get the newest version. looking forward to hearing your take on it! also want to note that I have the xsoft variant, as the mid softness is a much faster experience with the glide. i mainly play tac shooters so the mid would be too quick for me, and xsoft is the perfect middle ground as you can press into the pad so you have very steady aim for example holding angles and needing your mouse to be extremely steady. it provides more than enough speed with the xsoft variant, while also providing more than enough control so it really is the best of both worlds.
It's interesting how you said you don't like the artisan base. I read online somewhere that the reason the price is so high is because of the base. It makes up like 70 to 80 percent of the cost. I've never owned one, but I just found that interesting.
I recently ordered an Asus Harpe Ace, but I didn't get the Aimlab mouse pad with it. I assume it isn't necessary because I already like the feel of my Artisan Hayateotsu. I've tried the Hien before and found it to be a bit scratchy too. Why not try the other Artisan pads?
