I wanted to like the MRO, but as others have noted, it is not 1x. It has a slight magnification to it. It is really wild. If you aim both eyes open, which you should be doing with a red dot, your eyes will see two totally different pictures. Its headache inducing. Its like looking at the eye chart at the doctors office with both eyes open. I honestly dont understand why, but it sucks. I work at a gun store and three other employees felt the same way. Watch Hops video on it for more reference. Go Aimpoint or Eotech if you are intent on going higher end. Stay away from the MRO, your eyes and brain will thank you
Cool, looks like I’ll be buying one of these for my wife’s AR15 build. Never owned a trijicon mro before so this one will be a first. I own the RDS and I love it dang thing is great all around. Price not so much but I bought it.
I’ve never had an MRO but I’m sure I would enjoy one just fine. I like my Duty rds a lot. I carry the T10 in my pistol grip but never use it after sighting it in how I like. I can hit the up & down brightness buttons with or without mechanix gloves. Really I can use anything that’s tough, holds zero and has good battery life. Low maintenance, the sight and myself ha!
