So people say the chain Ainz & Lizardman using is an accessory that increase their exp 2x or higher but their stats are limited (I mean their powers or strength)...I don't know if this is a true answer.

Also its important to notice that vereybody in Nazarick sees Ains )and the 41) as a literal God, and themselfs realy realy above humans, like we see ants, or spiders, we dont really care if we kill thousands of them.

@@wymg4480 we do experiments on animals, put them as livestock, house pet, breaking their houses (destroying environment, chopping down forests), and some of us do torture animals, and in a lot of countries, animal beating is not a serious crime or at all. Nazarick is a place where Ainz's goal is to ensure the safety of his "species", "son and daughters". So trying to invade it and kill everything inside to rob it is more than enough to kill all of them. Some of his species enjoy toying with humans or experimenting on humans, just like some of us enjoy playing with animals, even in cruel manners or simply using them for scientific experiments. We may hate those people, but will we treat them as non-human? Killing someone is not equal to killing an animal, that's I am pretty sure every countries in the world agree upon. Planning to lure human adventures is just like how we lure animals via food and traps, there is really not that much of a difference, except this time Ainz put enough food outside the trap and hear their reasons to determine his actions. Adventurers are harmful animal to him just like how rats, flies and cockroaches to us, we put traps to kill them by using baits. The only difference is that we don't speak to cockroaches, flies and rats. The irony is, we do not consider those animals equal to us, and Nazarick does the same to human.

@Daddy Longstroke its not word policing, you just got it wrong. Momonga was his original name, he changed it to Ainz after declaring himself in the New World, Momon is his adventurer name which is based on his original name

Well the thing is... even if Ainz did trick them into breaking into Nazarick, they are still a bunch of graverobbers.

@@allmightyweakling4167 In a way he did trick them, but he also gave them a chance to explain themselves by asking why they were going. For example the elf girls that swordsman guy had, weren’t killed and even living better lives because they were basically forced to go.

Not exactly a fair comparison, considering Ainz made a deal with Paradyne to get the Empire to send Workers to Nazarick. He payed people to rob him and then killed the robbers, which is totally different. Ainz is absolutely the villian of Overlord, his deeds only get worse from here.

@@wren5413 and the people can choose not to rob him and experimenting on animals is not uncommon. It was a security test for his new defence mechanic to defend his kind. It's just like how we test run our pest system to kill or prevent pests from entering our home. Using animal for testing purposes is a solid activity and people do that for better mean are not considered evil by us. Ainz used wilfully invaders to test his home security is a reasonable reason because the new security was meant to protect Nazarick citizens whom Ainz consider to be his kins. Scientists do experiments on animal to benefit the entire human race, and they are without a doubt, "heroes" of the human race, but for those animals that were, are and will be experimented on, not so much. And "Just because the house has gold, doesn't mean you should rob it". He is definitely the villain, but if you swap the race all of a sudden he is not a villain anymore. That's the fun part of Overlord. Humanity has to deal with its own standards but they are at the end of the short stick of those standards. Make you suddenly realise maybe we aren't that better than what we truly are. Duality of humanity is shown in Overlord, people who willing to die to protect humanity in this show have my respect but it is what it is when a force outside of your control takes over you have to cope with it, just like how we cut down mountains of trees, all those living beings inside that forest have to cope with it.

@@clorkmagnus Yeah no, once you have a literal actual Holocaust, you cannot escape being the villain, no matter how you spin it. Especially when you then pretend you are a hero who is saving that same country from your own holocaust, and taking over in the process.

@@clorkmagnus Also they didnt do it to test their security, Nazarick proved itself in Yggdrasil’s height to be essentially seige-proof. They did it so they could force Emperor Jircniv to go to Nazarick and form their “alliance”, which they are doing for the sole purpose of taking over the Empire. In the LN’s its described as their version of the “stick and carrot method”. Subjugate the Empire and destroy the Kingdom, then let every other country decide which treatment it prefers. So in short, they bribed a government official to send people to Nazarick for the sole purpose of killing them for the sole purpose of taking over the Empire.

It's a possibility especially it was proven that there are threat strong enough to mess up the strongest floor guardian in Nazarick, Shaltear. Ainz was establishing a new defense mechanism with the fake tomb as a fake Nazarick in case of an actual serious attack, and you have to test it out at any point and do you consider human testing on animal evil? Ainz using human to test his stuffs is identical from a higher species perspective, it's the standard of Nazarick. Also the tomb resource is now limited, Ainz and a lot of Nazarick citizens can live for thousands of years or more, and irreplaceable resources need to be conserved. That makes such an attack even if not successful can provide significant damage even with resurrection ready. Would you take the risk of your own people being killed? So testing and be careful is a serious matter. Ainz does not making assumption like you, he is very careful, even the plot to mess up with the empire is just part of the plan, it's a war for resource, securing new resources ensuring Nazarick safety and pushing experiments to make sure they are always the strongest in case of future players arrive. Ainz thought far ahead and responsible with his citizens. Human conquering forests and wild lands pushing away animals, killing animals that can harm them and gathering resources from those lands are the same things. You just disagree because it's a human perspective. I bet those poor animals that were chased away and skinned would feel a lot of pain and fear toward us. A force they can't fight back. By your standard human commit holocaust every time we clear a forest or lands for expansion. Nazarick is siege proof only when the mechanism is fully activated and "when a lot of the members are active". Again, indifference against the human race is evil to human, I am not spinning anything, I already said Ainz is evil, I don't know why people having problem realising he is evil to human just like human evil to inferior species. You can kill a female rat to death, and that rat could have just try to eat some of the food so it can give milk to baby rat, do you feel bad about it? You don't even think about it, that's the case for a lot of people. I am saying human do the same things and you are justifying home invaders that attempted to kill the owner of the place for personal gain because they are human. That's why it's duality of human standard and hypocrisy if you look at it from a sentient race perspective. So just because they are human, it's fine to get paid and go rob? Multiple time I said Ainz and Nazarick are evil entity to human as they can dominate and domesticated human as livestock and do not treat human like human treat human but like human treat animal. Luring animals are also our speciality when we want to capture them or hunt them. Is that evil to you if a human do that? Of course not. People agree on attacking the tomb, they had conversations with the lizards, the lich and Hamsuke, and what did they try to do? If you do not hold humans higher than any of these sentient beings, it's clear that what they did is barbaric and nothing less than mercenaries that are paid to kill regardless of who pays it. They received payment to attack the tomb and attempted to kill everything inside. They got paid from someone and can also be paid from someone else. And it's probably not the first time they attacked other sentient beings like that. It's clear evidence one of the famous adventures even has elf slaves.

Exactly. The only times Ainz actually _hurts_ people instead of killing the quickly is when they have crossed lines. Like when Guu insulted the name of the guild. He could have OHKO'd him, but because Guu ran his mouth, he got the pain before death.

wellp, the clan he owns plays the role of villains but Momonga (Ainz) himself tries to evade all unnecessary sacrifices cuz he knows what morals are, but he got right to get mad after strangers did all of that and then giving him false hopes about reuniting with at least one known friend of his
