SPONSORED REVIEW!! Check out my first product review of this aiper smart pool robot which I was impressed with actually!! Let me know your thoughts!!! Here’s a link to the product⬇️ amzla.com/vf45o...
My grandparents had a vacuum similar to this almost always running in their pool. I remember when I was a kid I was terrified of it. We would all avoid it like the kraken lol.
It would be cool if it came with a remote control device Or even a way to 3D scan the pool so the robot knows where it's been and where it needs to go next
More like a Roomba which can be programmed to learn the shape of rooms and the floorplan of your home? Yep agree esp if it's just doing the one pool for the rest of its life
I bought one and liked it but then it stopped working. Contacted Aiper support and they said they would send me a replacement power box. When I inquired and asked for tracking information they stopped responding to my emails. They do not honor their warranty so beware.
Triggered how it didn't have a set motion it was just cleaning everywhere it felt like instead of starting on one side then going to the other. Was super satisfied though.
Still need leaf skimming on top , side brushing and chemical service and emptying your skimmers and pump basket and emptying the cleaning basket and vacuuming once and a while if the pool cleaner dosnt get it , filter cleanings , back washings etc .. you’ll still need pool cleaning service, the techs will just have a easier time at your house and will spend less time at your house
I legit remember seeing a robotic pool vacuum similar to this on demo mid to late 1980's. I remember it acting the same way.. seemingly random. Very cool.
Funny thing, it comes with a bad design that can be corrected if you have a 3D Printer. Since it has no wheels on the 4 corners it tends to get stuck on the steps and often on the curves of the pool. It will back out, seems like it takes over 2 minutes to back out, which is way too long. I printed 4 wheels using flexible filament and the redesign works fine. I also experimented with the sponge roller foam brush that does a much better job in not getting stuck. My neighbor has the same maker but the 1300 model vs. this one being reviewed with is the 1200. The 1300 backs out a lot quicker from getting stuck and seems to be the better of the 2. I'd stay away from this 1200 model and get the 1300 or go with a different company as they are EXTREMELY unresponsive when you try to reach them, next to impossible and seems like parts are often no available.
Everytime I pull it out of the water some debri escapes. I also don't like how it doesnt get the edges. I had aquabot and it did but was a pia to clean bag. This does clean the walls very well.
onds ago just received the 3000. Although I like it VERY much I have a problem that I have not been able to solve. It gets stuck on my “WaterWay Drain Cover.” My pool is new and the drain covers meet all new requirements for safety . I’ve been told to add two 2”x2” foam blocks to assist the vacuum in climbing over the drains. Unless I can find an easy fix I’m afraid mind is going to be sent back.
i think this is good to maintain the cleaness of the pool, but if your pool is dirty, u should get a professional pool cleaner to do the job for u.. this bot will be after its professionally cleaned usefull .
Much like robovacs in your house, they're definitely not a substitute for the real thing. What they are good for is maintaining in-between the real thing and make it so that when you do bust out the regular vacuum it's super quick and easy to do the job.
In my opinion pentair and Polaris smart cleaners work better and the parts are more widely available and they do more systematic then roomba go anywhere and anywhere when it wants type movement
