Hi Mark, Yes, it's a fantastic piece of kit. I'm so proud of mine. When I sit with it on my knee or when I'm using it, it's like electric running through my fingertips. It's a beautiful, beautiful air rifle. I am so proud to have and own mine. The blacking, walnut stock, fishscale chequering, the engineering function, and overall experience of using this product make my knees go weak. Thank you, Mark, for a great review.

just a quick tip, if you hold in the safety catch button when cocking the rifle it will make it almost silent when cocking the gun. especially handy if you're out hunting game

I have this model in the longer version mk 3 in walnut and is pleasing to shot and very accurate!

There's always arguments about HW97 vs TX200HC, in my honest opinion they are both great in their own way. Why not have one of each like I do ? You wouldn't regret it.

A Great Rifle, I have this model in beech, I have many air rifles but this is my favourite, also have Weihrauchs and BSAs including a MK2 Airsporter in mint condition. The TX200HC is incredible

It's a fantastic rifle, Very strong and extremely easy to service yourself. Iv had one for years and I still leave the pcp ,s at home to have fun with this wonderful rifle. Great vid and thanks.

This is one of very very few channels on RU-vid that actually represent the shot noise accurately. Most of the channels all sound muffed as they have like a huge silencer on every shot, or they are using the mono recording equipment.

it is time for the bith of a tx200 ambi and open the breech so the pellet can be loaded from either side !!! MK4 then....

Excellent spring gun, l had one 10yr ago, just got another in .22 so accurate, l always when loading keep my hand on the lever so don't need the bear trap, l made it so it doesn't engage, easy to put back.

Is your .22 sub 12ft/lb? Or more powerful than 12ft/lb? Would you reccomend .177 or .22 TX200HC for hunting

Hi Mark I'm New to Air rifle shooting and have recently joined a local club where I will be target shooting from 10 to 50 metres and would appreciate your advice on what scope to fit to my Air Arms Tx200hc that I've Treated Myself to for my 50th Birthday (Never to late for a new hobby) Many Thanks, Mark. Mark join one of the airgun forums where you are able to ask lots of questions answered by very experienced airgun shooters. Choosing and buying a scope requires plenty of consideration.

Keep it wiped down with an oily rag or you will be sorry. Pitting sets in before you can say "SCAT"

On the indoor range where I fire mine it does not sound anything like that loud, and if you fit a moderator you can hear the spring.

Outdoors you'd hardly hear it. Indoors the sound of the shot bounces off all the walls.

So, on that basis, you're better off with a Cortina from the 1970s than a modern Mondeo? Sure about that? Incidentally, I own a Les Paul, so I know what I'm on about.

Little Holmes although I agree with you on weihrauch hw97k but have to tell that PRS is way way better quality made instrument than the Gibson. air arms tx200 is a great rifle as well

I got a weihrauch 97kt myself and it is fantastic... No springer like it.

I love guitars and guns so this is brilliant for me. I prefer Weihrauch but also prefer PRS over Gibson atm. An American made custom 24 PRS is a thing of beauty. Think it would take custom shops to get better IMO.
