To lose weight, I went completely vegan and workout out 5 times a week and lost 60 pounds. I officially leave January 29th. Different things work for different people.

It took me 7 months and it was very hard but you have to be dedicated. Nothing to drink but water.

I was 189 last year now 152 ❤️for the Air Force I’m 35 and goal is 160 so I’m doing good. I love your videos I want to get to 130 and I’m good makes me feel lighter the more I loose and workouts are easier .

In the beginning I did not taking it seriously. I started at 200lbs. After 4 months, I got to 165lbs. What I did? I cut out all junk food. If I had to have something sweet, I made keto Reese’s cups. I literally didn’t eat anything but the little dinner Salisbury steaks and veggies. The Navy gave me a hard time about a scar I got when I was 8 months on one wrist. So I said screw it, I gave up on the military. Gained the weight all back when I met my boyfriend. I’m trying for the navy again. I was 214lbs about 2 weeks ago, I’m 199lbs as of this morning. I’ve been doing the same but I’m really out of shape this time so cardio gets me tired quickly. With my waist, I can go to the military now but I want to get in shape for boot camp

As far as working out what do you do??? Im 175-180 and I need to get down to 140 or less. My story is the same as yours I was the right weight then gained a lot once I got a boyfriend now im trying to lose it.

xx xx so my bf is military but he’s getting out but he has me on a strict workout plan. I do 200 squats throughout the day, 100 pushups in 5-10 at a time, 1 minute planks whenever I’m not busy, morning walks or jogs depending on how we feel, and our diet is one day we will eat nothing but one item. For ex. We eat only fruit one day, only veggies the next day, only meat the next day, and so on. And regular pushups were a struggle for me so I started doing wall pushups until I was able to do floor ones.

I’m in dep and I gained weight. I leave June 21, 2022. I’m 5’9 and my weight supposed to be 180 and I’m 199 now. Smh. But this video is inspiring. Just run/walk everyday and eat less. I’ll be fine. The recruiter going chew me out on Thursday when he sees that I gained weight.

I'm so glad I stumbled on this I am her exact height and I've always was a thickums and shapely lol but I weigh 181 now got discouraged and stress ate smh🤦🏾‍♀️ I'm gonna lose it tho... I'm trying to get ready to go back to meps... I had a quesadilla and it was soooooooo good but I cranked water that night... i had an apple and water for breakfast lol passed the weight requirements lol Edit I'm 165 now 10 more lbs to go🤗🤗😝

Marine veteran here. I never had trouble with my weight until I got out the military. Now then I'm enlisting back but for the army this time, im sitting at 209 lbs, 5'11 most my weight is muscle mass due to my powerlifting journey. Although I never had to loose weight; I know what I need to do based on my fitness experienced. These two ladies hit it on the dot. Calorie deficit, cut high carbs, cut trans fat (you want good fats nuts, avocado, etc.), and keep proportion size small. You want high protein for recovery (fish is good source) and some sort of training. I suggest high intensity intervals training. Dont need to but fat burners will ASSIST in loosing weight. Oh yea, no eating at night and lots, lots of water. Hope this helps and good luck!

@@DomingaShataun fairly easy and quick. For prior service enlistees, you dont need to retake the asvab but you can if you want. Still have to go through the meps process though. For ht and wt req, since you have served before you have to meet the requirements as someone who is currently in the military. And the usual paperwork with the recruiter. I've heard the fastest to reenlist back into the army and navy is like 3 months. When I talked to airforce he told me a year.

Any advice on anxiety when going to Meps... I’m so nervous... my recruiter is trying to get me there in two weeks... I’ve gonna vegan and have been doing smoothies to maintain my weigh but I’m still nervous my anxiety will get the best of me 😩🙃

I just got hipped to your channel I’m losing weight for the air force I’m 235 and I want to be 135 even though I can be like 150 but I want to get that low so I can pack on some muscle with some wiggle room left

@@flutelover1913 thanks love I have to get to 160 too but I’m shooting for 135 just to be clear but I’m doing insanity max 30 and I’m listing how I eat below: Veggies: 4 cups Fruits: 3 cups Protein: 4 cups Carbs: 1.5 cups Healthy fats: 1/4 cup Oil: 4 teaspoons Good luck 👍🏽🍀 I’m going into the army reserve now because I’m a single mom and I am not allowed to serve active duty airforce

im 5’7” too 💁🏽‍♀️ me at my heaviest was probably like 245-250 and i got down to 185 then 182 some weeks later like without knowing it over the span of like give or take 8 months and now i know i’ve gained some more since then and im tryna join the AF too so i wanna be at my lowest possible and the max for 5’7” men and women is 175 so i got like at least 20 pounds to go to be under that

I don’t need to lose weight but I do need to lose body fat and replace it with more muscle. So I’ll probably stay the same weight or maybe even gain a few more pounds which I already have gained a few in muscle. Remember ladies and gents, the weight isn’t the only thing to consider. Muscle weights more than fat focus on losing fat and gaining muscle. Don’t worry to much about how much you weigh!

You said to get the job you want; I'm really worried about getting the job i want, if the recruiter is pushing for a job i don't want should i go to a different recruiter in the office or an entirely different office?

Em Burris the Air Force puts you where they need you, so if the job you want is not what they are looking for, it won’t matter what recruiter/office they go to. When ur done with asvab/MEPS theylll give you a list of jobs to chose from, but ultimately they have put you where they need u
