While we were in Las Vegas, we got to see Drew’s best-friend John, who is a MQ-9 Reaper pilot. For those who don’t know, the MQ-9 is an airframe in the USAF capable of dropping multiple 500lb bombs and multiple 114 Hellfire missiles.
In this video, John shares insight on this career field. This includes everything from how big the drone actually is and how his life changed after his first strike.
We also discuss the realities of this career field to include the associated PTSD stigma.
