@@DoMiNaToR3 hey dominator, it's better to over aim with the USA carpet bomber. Everytime I used it, it tends to drop a quarter of bombs before the target, and the rest up to halfway of the target, it may save your units if you can aim😜

I agree. I haven't played this game for a seriously long time, and only recently starting watching content for it again recently. I was surprised to see it's still the same thing. MDVees and Ambo. I played Gens/ZH from day one for years and remember before this was the meta and how disgusting it was when it started becoming the norm. I'm quite surprised the game isn't community patched and constantly balanced like other older legacy games. I think an awesome example is Supreme Commander Forged Alliance. It's been community run and constantly patched/balanced by the community for years as Forged Alliance Forever. Very regular balance changed, bug fixes, quality of life updates etc. I can clearly see some differenced like this GenTool stuff. But it appears there isn't an ongoing balance effort? Correct me if I'm wrong anybody? I miss these games a lot. Good old days!

@@firestorm517 you're entirely right. there has been a lot of talk and drama about meta over the years and both pro and regular players seem to be too attached to the current state of balance. suprisingly these people just don't want to move on and they're happy with how the game is right now, spamming MDVees as USA and quads + buggies as GLA, no one builds anything else the game has to offer. this is very sad, i wish everyone just moved on to a balanced meta where every unit has a use in public games

and because of it, SWG is underpowered in pro rules

While a Combat Chinook with 6-7 MDs and a pathfinder or two is my literal favourite unit in Zero Hour, I'm not sure Domi could afford any of his general promotions to pick up pathfinders when the armies he was staring down were pure vehicles

@@DoMiNaToR3 Figured. It was very suspicious how quickly he reacted whenever you used a support power.

Search and Destroy is better. Weapon range means you can go into fights, and woth the right micro, you'll never lose a unit. Bombardment is strong, but it's also stationary, and wasted potential.

I was also wondering about that, bombardment seemed better when he was base trading with yellow. It's not like you can't switch later.

SND is better for vees micro, and you can attack and defense with 'em. Bombardment just hits one times in a few seconds on a limited range

Bombardment is too situational, and the shell travels too slowly to be effective against moving targets. Also, switching strategies leaves your units immobile for a good 5-6 seconds.

Going up against 2 chinas, air units against gat tank and gat cannon spam from both players would have been pointless, learn the game before you make these kinda comments 😆

Typically air force is just played as regular USA but with more support powers. Honestly, a bit disappointing. But that is the strongest strategy.
